Extractions: I absolutely loved this book!!! It's one of those rare jems you find in a bookstore that has a great plot, fantastic characters, and the sort of cliffhanger-like ending that makes you anxiously look forward to the next book in the series. Munnings is a great writer, and I'm glad to have discovered his wonderful Tapestry of Blood series. The story is fast-paced and tight (so much so that you can consume the entire 345 pages in just under two days), and is a thoroughly entertaining read. Munnings's characters are some of the best to come along since Jordan'srichly textured and very three-dimentional. The book also boasts several strong female characters as well.

I've managed to obtain a prepublication copy of this wonderful book (at his website www.tapestryofblood.com) and found, much to my delight, that I could not put it down. The story is fast-paced yet masterly crafted and showcases solid, life-like characters the likes of which I haven't "adventured" with since Eddings's Belgariad. The story centers around a young man named Kiernan who possesses two ancient bloodsone good, and one evil. Kiernan is following a psychic urge to flee his longtime home and to rendezvous with a mysterious shaman who appears to know all about Kiernan's destinya destiny upon which, as the back cover states, "the fate of the entire world, and all that he holds dear, is hinged." I cannot express enough my delight and satisfaction at having read such a superb and well-crafted book. Mr. Munnings's future as one of the "Masters" of the Fantasy genre is all but ensured. I recommend it to all lovers of Fantasy and Adventure everywhere.-NL

At the age of thirty-five she decides on a career change and enters the Yale Divinity School. There she meets Blanche Werner, the financial manager for Sanderson College, a womens college in Vermont. Rosemary falls in love with Sandersons Vermont location, and after some reflection on the direction of her career, she accepts the position.
