Product Description
The LSAT is an exam which is full of patterns. Because of this, using previously-administered LSATs is indisputably the most effective way to prepare for the test. Logical reasoning questions, especially those with argumentive stimuli, exhibit recurring structures and patterns of reasoning. In order to maximize your potential on this section, it is important that you learn to recognize these patterns and exploit them to the fullest extent. In this volume, Cambridge LSAT groups the 997 logical reasoning questions from PrepTests 1-20 by type, and presents each particular grouping in order of increasing difficulty. Thus, as your technique improves in any one category, you will face more challenging questions.

These books are fantastic. They include literally every released LSAT question for a 12 year period. The way the questions are organized allows you to take a targeted crescendo approach. If you identify your problem areas, these books can allow you can hit them hard and methodically.

I am a Peace Corps volunteer, and as such I'm without a reliable physical address (my address is literally: "five houses downhill from the telephone poll"). I do, obviously, have access to the internet, which is lucky because this company also allows their books to be purchased online and printed. I got my book the same day. I was hovering around 170 on my practice tests, and no joke, after drilling the daylights out of Vol. 1 for two days, my scores shot up and I subsequently got a 178. Since then I've been missing 1 or 2 Logical Reasoning questions per test, whereas before I was missing 5 to 8.

So yeah, these books are definitely legit. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Mediocre..
It was very helpful to have explanations for every question that you do wrong on an actual LSAT. The only problem is that they don't tell you which LSATs they are, and I have a funny feeling it might just be a bunch of LSATs mixed up, which won't give you accurate ratings.

The descriptions for each topic are good, to the point, althought they spend more time using words like 'the kaplan denial method' than actually giving you solid info..

This book will give you a good intro in to studying for the LSAT, and it includes four practice tests. It is a good resource, but you will probably want to supplement your studies with additional resources.

1-0 out of 5 stars embarrassment
Over the past four months I have been studying for the LSAT's and purchased nearly every Powerscore book there is on the subject. All three bibles were amazing and well written, and while the Decunstructed books had many typos, it was still very good. This book however is an embarrassment for the Powerscore company. I read all the reviews about this book, about how it doesn't give the problems and typos, but I bought it any way because I only needed it to show me how to diagram the games ( I already had the questions so that wasn't a problem). This book doesn't even do that. At random times throughout the book it will show you how to diagram the local questions and it will either stop in the middle or it will show you some but not others. Worse still, There were a few times when it set up the global diagram and it explicitly says that it will show the final diagram later on (for example after an inference is made in question 21) and it moves on to the next game without ever addressing the question later on or even the final diagram. There were many such inexplainable oversights in this book and it did not serve even my most basic needs. From a company like Powerscore that publishes very good material, this book should be discontinued until they fix it up. Very disappointing.

2-0 out of 5 stars Somewhat useless
I absolutely love all of PowerScore's products, so giving this guide a low score hurts me. A lot of places advertise the Setup Guide as a perfect companion to to the Logic Games Bible. But even when those two books are combined, the Setup Guide is still pretty useless. As others have mentioned, there are no questions or answers. Those could not be included due to licensing issues. Only thing that is included is how to set up the questions. So needless to say, it is ridiculously useless on its own or with the Logic Game Bible. The only way it is useful is if you are planning to take practice LSAT exam after practice LSAT exam. You will need to buy these exams though, and surprise, all of them are available on the PowerScore website. If you REALLY need all the help you can get with the logic games and have an unlimited budget, this product might apply to you. Otherwise, spend your dollars elsewhere.

1-0 out of 5 stars Do not waste your time or money!
I rarely ever write reviews on here, but for this book I have too. This book is a complete waste of time, money and paper. What good is a book of answers without the questions? What good is a book full of diagrams without questions and nothing more than what is the right answer with no real explanation of anything?

I cannot believe that anyone was actually paid to write this piece of dribble.

Shame on you David Killoran for writing it and shame on PowerScore for allowing it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice supplement to Logic Games Bible, but not enough
I recommend this book to students who want more guidance than the Logic Games Bibl. As a professional LSAT tutor, I've seen students literally go from only 10 or 11 right on the games section to 18 or 19 right, and above, after working with me out of the Logic Games Bible. This book demonstrates setups, but it doesn't teach them. As such, this book alone is inadequate.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not up to par with Logic Games Bible, but still worth it
I ordered this thinking that it contained the LSAT questions, their setups, and their answers.I guess I didn't read the description well enough, because it really has only the setups for each problem.I wasn't too upset about the lack of actual problems--the majority of those can be found in the 10 LSAT (10 More and The Next 10, I think) books--but I was really disappointed that they didn't have explanations for every answer like in the Logic Games Bible.Overall, the individual setups are much shorter (about 1 page/game) than in the LGB (several pages/game).There were explanations for some answers, but not for all of them. For someone like me, who's not exactly a whiz at Logic Games, though, it's worthwhile.Basically, I love the LGB and think a mediocre supplement is better than no supplement at all.

Good luck on the LSAT! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible
I am severely disappointed with this book. As others have mentioned, it contains many MANY errors in reasoning, where the authors actually make mistakes common of test-takers when listing and explaining the correct answer. One example is a game quite near the beginning of the book where the conditions are "A is chosen if B is chosen", etc etc. The authors, in selecting and explaining the "correct" answer interpret this to mean "A is chosen ONLY if B is chosen." This is a common fallacy of test-takers and it just embarrassing and appalling to have paid $30 for a book that commits these errors.

Perhaps even worse and more off-track than these reasoning errors is the use of "none of the above" answer choices. These are never used on the LSAT and they work directly against the process of learning to complete the games efficiently and quickly. Absolutely inappropriate. ABSOLUTELY INAPPROPRIATE!

1-0 out of 5 stars Not really sure about this one
I borrowed this book from the library and I haven't even gotten past the first chapter. Using the contrapositive to get some points is a good strategy if they explained it better. Their explanation for the first game is so confusing. I took Symbolic Logic as an undergrad, I did really well and I enjoyed the class. So much so that I purchased the book I used in that class last year so I could work through the exercises for fun. But this I don't get. Like I said I haven't finished the book yet. If I get the 5 points I need to get into the school I want they'll get 5 stars. Until now they get 1 star for the good strategy in Chapter 1 and nothing for execution.

1-0 out of 5 stars Errors errors errors!
This book is useless. It's so full of mistakes that it might hurt your score to work through it! Time is better spent doing real LSAT games.I also worked through thePowerscore Logic Games Bible and it was waaaaaaay better.

2-0 out of 5 stars Errors up the YING-YANG
Really reprehensible.Piss-poor editing, rife with mistakes and misprints. You should be ashamed, McGraw-Hill.

1-0 out of 5 stars harvard doesn't teach editing skills
The very first logic game explanation is riddled with errors. Spent hours thinking I was doing it wrong, but it turns out the Harvard law students who wrote the book could use a class on editing textbooks. Wish I had read the reviews first. Boots. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Laughable at best
Wow where to start. Traditionally, I leave reviews for the bloggers and highly opinionated people of the world, but the sheer fact that I will never get the hours I wasted on this ridiculous excuse for a book back compelled me into action. Looking back, I can tell you exactly how I stumbled upon this book. A naive sophomore in college, I associated LSAT with Kaplan. Needless to say, I never made that mistake again. This book should serve as nothing more then a paper weight. In less then 122 pages, the brilliant people at Kaplan attempt to convey their brilliant strategies while throwing in problems and half ass solutions. This book is merely a colossal waste of time. I would honestly say you could learn more by reading my crudely constructed review then reading a single page of this book. That being said, DONT BUT THIS BOOK NOT EVEN AS A FIRE STARTER as it is most likely useless in that aspect as well.

If you want to do well, buy the Powerscore logic games/logic reasoning bible. Simply put they are the best. I worked through the Logic reasoning book (~500pgs) in about 7 days, and felt like a new man. Anyhow, this review is getting long winded but if you have made it this far I will give you one last nugget of information. Stay away from Kaplan as much as possible. I am sitting next to the 4 books you get for taking the 1000$+ course and must say that besides the mastery and endurance books, they are just a waste of paper. The lesson book is oddly composed and if you decide to take the lsat down the road after taking the class, the only way to navigate the book is by sessions (i.e. like you were going to their class, session one is all the intro bs etc...)The End

3-0 out of 5 stars Disk doesnt work with Vista
I have purchased the book and it turn out that disk doesn't work with vista at all. Support suggested me to utilize xp instead. Not disappointing, but sad.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent from page one
This book helped with the preparation for the LSAT both on a learning and emotional level. It helped me with it's on-line testing as well as the CD.

If you can'r afford to take a class this is a good option.

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
Kaplan's LSAT study guides are an embarrassment to what I thought the company's reputation stood for (IMHO): quality test prep. The guides are Kaplan's marketing trap: vague explanations, typos, errors and very poor attention paid to detail (initially) made me think I should register for one of their courses in order to prepare for the LSAT. Avoid this. It's possible to study successfully on your own with the LSAC's official study guide. In short, I believe you'll learn more from blasting the radio, chatting with friends and watching TV while reviewing a non-Kaplan guide compared to burning countless invaluable hours of your time in the library with an error laden Kaplan guide--while exaggerating, it's only to make the point: I'm that unimpressed.

1-0 out of 5 stars FULL OF ERRORS AND TYPOS
I purchased the Kaplan LSAT Premier program as well as the Kaplan LSAT Logic Games Workbook and I've been working with them for about a month. I not only want my money back, but my time as well! These books are full of errors and typos, in the logic games workbook especially. This has made it HARDER to prep for the test rather than easier. STAY AWAY FROM KAPLAN ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Study Guide EVER!!!
"Cracking The LSAT" has given me hope of doing well on the exam!!Not only was the price great, the book was brand new and delivery was faster than expected!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Not actual former LSATs.Misprints on questions!
I have taken three practice tests so far. Two were out of The Official LSAT SuperPrep, which uses actual former LSATs. The third test I took was the first test appearing in this book.

This book does not use real LSATs. This was very obvious when I discovered a significant typo (one that literally made a question impossible to answer and made me waste valuable time) in the first section of the test. How do I know it was a typo? Because the answer key reprinted the full question correctly. Taking a practice test is a serious time commitment. I don't have time to waste taking tests with results that may have been skewed because of poor editing.

Maybe I was having a bad day. Or, maybe other factors, like time-wasting typos and the fact that the questions may not be as rigorously tested as actual LSAT questions, influenced my score. Whatever the reason, I actually scored a full 10-15 points lower on this test than I had on my previous 2 LSAT tests. I seriously question whether or not Princeton Review practice tests are accurate predictors of actual LSAT scores. If not, who needs to have their confidence shaken before they take the test?

The only positive thing I can say about this book is that the practice tests do include the new comparative reading comprehension questions. However, this is to be expected since the book is dated 2009 and they came out with these questions in 2006. But unfortunately many other books don't have them because their tests are older. I just purchased all the individual tests available since June of 2006 at $8 each to be able to practice these. I haven't found a book containing the actual tests that is recent enough to include them (although honestly, I have so many general review books now that I didn't look that hard).

My advice is don't waste your money on this book. Use practice tests with actual former LSATs. And for studying help, I have read PowerScore is the way to go. Just bought their Logical Reasoning and Logic Games Bibles.

5-0 out of 5 stars More fun than Kaplan, more compatible with Mac
Not all the way through the book yet, but it's written in clear, breezy language, and it breaks down the test into really clear and organized bites, which Kaplan doesn't.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
As a former The Princeton Review teacher, I automatically bought this book when I decided to take the LSAT.I truly believed that TPR was the best test prep out there, and that using real test questions is the only way to learn how the testmakers think.

I was stunned when I found in Chapter 2 of this book an example of an argument (i.e. Logical Reasoning) question that uses an incorrect assumption in its "correct" answer choice. That's when I found out that The Princeton Review doesn't use real test questions like it used to when I coached other tests. That's when I put down this book and ordered books from Powerscore, which does license real test questions from the Law School Admission Council, and the LSAC's own Official LSAT Test Prep books, which contain actual LSATs.

The DVD, while professionally done and gorgeous, isn't helpful either.

3-0 out of 5 stars A Decent Introduction
A quick introductory note, this is NOT a review of the two practice tests and the DVD. I have not looked at those yet, but I cannot see those changing the basic score.

OK, this book is a good introductory choice for those unfamiliar with the LSAT. The book is broken up fairly logically, and the format makes sense. They have an early section of general strategies, and then it gets more specific with large sections dedicated to the three major portions: reasoning/arguments, logic games, and reading comprehension.

Each of those three sections provides general guidelines and tips as to how to prepare for each section, and most importantly, several examples in each section with the reasoning on how to solve the problem. PR deserves credit for not just tossing easy ones in there, and explaining why tricky answers were wrong in a clear, cogent way. For instance, the Logic Game section contains nine different games outside of the practice tests, with full explanation for the results. The other two sections give similar offerings, although I found the reading comprehension section a little lacking in comparison. The book is consistent in fully explaining how one choice was more solid than another, and other than a minor format change on my part (I would have put the answers to the drills at the end of the section as opposed to the middle of the book), a couple stars are earned there.

One nice little perk is that they change their format when asking sample questions to mimic the the form the LSAT takes, and that gives credit to the familiarity they promote in the book (which is the point of the reviewer who opposed the DVD inclusion). With that said, it's a tad unhelpful of them to promote huge diagrams as the method to solve puzzles when they admit you won't have the space for big diagrams, but so be it.

However, the book portion has several flaws in my view. Their explanation of the logic games is HIGHLY dependent on arriving at their diagram. There is some merit to this, as their diagrams work for the example and it was fast with it right. However, the book offered no assistance if you decided to go with a different format, and you could easily get lost. The games are unforgiving in real life, and that's not the problem, but their explanation hinged on using their format of diagram, and the beginner's results show if you steal their format and figure out the information on your own as opposed to using your own diagram.

Beyond the specific complaint, the book seemed to suffer from a lack of truly concrete advice. They often refer to what "not" to do, such as discarding a reading section based on subject matter, but they leave the discriminating to, as they put it, "your gut". The non-example sections were, for the most part, common sense. The parts that were not entirely common sense were helpful, but it seems to me that the 290 or so pages of information could have been broken down to half that size, and that includes the examples. They give processes for how to approach each section (Assess-Analyze-Act for one of them, for short), but they often leave a little too much to the reader, at least in my opinion.

I have no experience with the tests yet, and I'll edit the review when I do, but they admit that they are not as good/official as the ones LSAC puts out choice wise, so that should tell you what you need to know. The tests are bonuses.

If you are beginning your preparation for the LSAT and you are green to the process, I actually recommend the book. Their tips are basic, but it is a respectable introduction to the test, the format, and the types of questions. Their advice sections near the end are useful for mental preparation as well. However, if you are already somewhat familiar with the test and have done decently on a practice one, I may suggest something a little more specialized. It is worth the 25 dollar investment for someone who is curious about the test, but I think the money is better spent on practice tests or put toward specific books if you already know the basic deal. ... Product Description
The LSAT is an exam which is full of patterns. Because of this, using previously-administered LSATs is indisputably the most effective way to prepare for the test. LSAT Reading Comprehension passages are typically written in a dense, academic style, and require adept tracking of viewpoints, global concepts, and small details. Fortunately, the passages are consistently drawn from four broad areas. By practicing with Reading Comprehension passages grouped by type, you can gain greater insight into the patterns which govern this often overlooked section, and learn to successfully navigate the "gray areas" from which the test makers frequently draw in crafting the questions. In this volume, Cambridge LSAT groups the eighty Reading Comprehension passages from PrepTests 21-40 by type, and presents each particular grouping in order of increasing difficulty. Thus, as your performance improves in any one category, you will face more challenging passages.

5-0 out of 5 stars LSAT Review
The book I purchased arrived on time and was useful for a test I was scheduled to take.

No problems or worries with this order.

I passed the test.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good mental workout
I agree with reviewer B. Peet that the problems in the Arco workbook are unlike the LSAT problems and that the best LSAT prep is to simply take as many of the old tests as possible. However, I think that for $9 it is really worth the cash simply for the mental habits it inculcates - habits that are quite useful on many of the logic games. While the Kaplan book provided tests that were more like the LSAT I found that Arco gave me more of the sort of challenge I was looking for in a supplement to taking actual old LSATs. Also, 75% of Kaplan's advice was fluff and commonsense and could have been said in half the words, whereas Arco's advice was succinct and genuinely helpful.

2-0 out of 5 stars Confusing
If you are struggling with the Logic Games section of the LSAT, as I am, you might want to stay away from this book. Perhaps it was designed for someone already scoring fairly well and was looking to add a few more points to their score, because it certainly does not cater to the individual trying to learn the basic techniques in solving logic games. I cannot imagine anyone diagramming in a timely manner using the methodology contained within. The structure of warm up exercises followed by mini-games eventually leading up to practice games should work but doesn't. I never grasped how the warm-ups tied into the overall scheme of the game. The explanations following each section were short, at times awkward, and narrow in scope. The sections and explanations just did not seem to build off of each other. Not a friendly environment for someone trying to learn. However, if you are looking for a source for all of the different types of logic games, this might be for you. It contains an incredible variety of game types. You just need to be fairly efficient with them before you get started on this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Useful study guide
Are the logic puzzles your Achille's heel on the LSAT? Then this is the book for you.

Work through the problems in this book, and the actual questions on the test will seem much easier. The examples in this book are much more difficult than the actual test. I do not think you will ever learn all the catagories of questions and identify each one definitively, but that is not the point of your studies. This book will challenge you and make the process of thinking through the logic puzzles much easier.

The book only gets 4 stars because it surprisingly contains several typos and one wrong answer. I would expect a study guide to have no mistakes.

This book had a definite impact on my score. If you take the free LSAT practice exam and score less than 150, then this book is probably not for you; purchase a more generalized study guide. This book is for the people that want to get the highest scores and accepted at the best rated law schools.

2-0 out of 5 stars Too complicated
While this book does cover all the material for the Logic games portion of the LSAT, the book complicates the material to a point of confusion. In order to remember all the set-ups they use, you would have to study for months. It is a good source but I couldn't get my head around all the different types of games they explain. Try somethig else if you are having a hard time with the games, this will only complicate matters more. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Book - Will Lead You Astray
This book has so many mistakes in it it's not even funny. Some of the answers are even WRONG. Do yourself a favor and stick with powerscore, examkrackers, kaplan, or ANYTHING else!

1-0 out of 5 stars A miserable excuse for a book
I picked this book up on a whim at my college bookstore since I figured that everyone and anyone could use some help on the logic game portion of the LSAT's. I appreciated the opening which had fairly obvious, but necessary steps with how to approach the games. Yet just from the beginning when I was working along the practice questions with the book in the intro, I realized how much more complex these games were. Of course, since I was an idiot and didn't check Amazon first I actually took it as that I was now miserable at logic games (because how could an edited, published book with such a respectable introduction be so misleadingly complex, error filled, and just plain WRONG for LSAT prep?)... I was somewhere near tears by question 15. Only after double checking my answers with the books and recognizing that they had not just silly little errors but straight up WRONG answers did I feel a little better about myself. Checked Amazon, and everyone here seems to agree. This book overly complicates the logic games, gives questions that are not even analogous to LSAT questions and they cannot possibly be done in the time necessary for the LSAT's. I give this book one star because of the introduction - it WAS nice to open that way - However I disagree with the other reviewers who feel that this book would be useful for 'additional practice'. This book is so error-filled and misleading that without someone editing the book, it seems absolutely useless as a study guide. What a terrible disappointment.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent for extra practice
This book helped me tremendously for two reasons.

1. I wanted to save real LSAT games for simulated tests

2. Games are harder than real LSAT games, which I found very helpful for timing issues

Note: I did not use this book to familiarize yourself with games or learn strategies from a book, and don't think it would be very helpful for accomplishing either of those goals.

1-0 out of 5 stars Numerous errors, does not properly mimic actual LSAT games
I did the first 25 questions in this book before throwing it out. The errors in the beginning weren't so bad, someone named "Lyle" might suddenly be named "Lawrence" or something similar. Then I reached a question where I could never get the correct answer (according to the book). After careful analysis, I have determined that the answer is woefully incorrect (I mean not even remotely possible or even understandable). Worse still is that this inaccuracy carries over into the rest of the questions about that section. The error is major, and should never have made it into the book if any sort of substantial editing was performed.

In addition, the questions are not that similar to the actual LSAT games, and are usually much easier or much harder, with differing structures. The answers lack any diagrams, and while the explanations (when correct) are somewhat in depth, they end up EXPLAINING A TABLE DOWN TO THE ROW AND COLUMN WITHOUT AN ACTUAL DIAGRAM. This is absolutely ridiculous, and figuring out why they did this represents a logic game more advanced than anything you will find on the LSAT.

The authors are affiliated with the University of Texas, which is one of the schools that I am considering applying to. If I end up going there, I will surely seek the authors out and discuss it with them. I definitely wouldn't take a class they are affiliated with by choice.

1-0 out of 5 stars incorrect answers
Just to give an idea of a major problem with this book, I'd like to point out Game 52.In this game, three piano players must learn exactly three of six pieces. In the instructions it says, "Each piece is learned by at least one, but not more than two of the students..."

For the first question pertaining to game 52, it asks "Which of the following could be a complete and accurate list of the pieces learned by the three students?"

The answer key indicates that the correct response is (A) Ali: 2,3,5; Ben: 3,4,6; Claire: 2,5,6.

Does anyone see the problem with this answer supposedly being the correct choice? It doesn't have any of the students learning piece #1, despite the fact the rules stated, "each piece is learned by at least one, but not more than two of the students..."

Obviously this is a clear mistake. It also leaves me with very little confidence in the book as a whole. If it has one mistake, who's to say it doesn't have numerous other mistakes? ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Do NOT buy: Atrocious Editing
This book should be pulled from stores and full refunds given to those who bought it. There are major editing errors where answers and questions do not line up at all and it is very difficult to find the correct answer/explanations. For instance, page 198 has an answer/explanation that is not for the given problem. Many other answers citeincorrect problem numbers. It appears that the information in this book was copied and pasted from other books incorrectly making this book useless. For $25 there should be no major errors like this. The book is not useful for improving your score because you may get a false sense of the correct way to work through problems even when you already answered them correctly. Many Kaplan products I have used were also poorly edited in similar ways but not nearly this bad.

1-0 out of 5 stars A great collection of tough questions, but large number of errors reduce its value
As a final tune up for the LSAT, this is a great collection of the most difficult problems. However, there are just too many errors for it to be a truly valuable resource. Consider the frustration of agonizing and deciding on an answer only to find out that the given explanation (and answer) is discussing a different problem. What do you learn?

Overall, I would still recommend working through this book if you have run out of other material and want to focus on the most difficult aspects of the LSAT. Just be prepared to be a bit frustrated every 5-10 pages!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
Not the best Kaplan product. I really like Kaplan, so it's good, but it definitely isn't their best study guide.

2-0 out of 5 stars Too Many Errors!
I have the advanced book and the LSAT 2010 book. The standard book is racked with errors. I find new ones every day. For the most part, you can search around to find the right answer/explanation because in most cases they just switched them around. I am astounded that such a reputable company printed errors into thousands of books. My fault for assuming the quality would match the reputation. Seeking a refund...

It's not that it's been a total waste of time, but I definitely recommend looking at other options for basic instruction and only taking official practice tests (the LSAC book of 10 practice tests, for example).

3-0 out of 5 stars Extreme LSAT studying
This book is one of the LSAT materials no longer for sale new. It contains old LSATs (old, as in before December 1995). The value of these tests is limited; if you were to study only three previous LSATs it would be best to take three of the newest LSATs. If you're doing all the old LSATs available then this book is one of the materials you'll need.

It contains PrepTests 2, 4, & 5 which correspond to October 1991, February 1992, and June 1992, respectively. As near as I can tell, you cannot obtain these tests from any other LSAT book (but testing companies may have them available for their students).

If you use these tests, use them early on in your practice. Work towards the newer exams as the date approaches the LSAT. If you're taking all 50+ LSATs available, you'll want at least one day off per week. So figure a maximum of 6 tests per week along with time adequate to review all your wrong answers and questionable responses. Count backward from the test and you'll have your study plan.

2-0 out of 5 stars So many errors...
I've gotten to about pg 115 in this book and already it's starting to get me angry. I've noticed blatant mistakes it's made such as in pg 115, for the answer to question 2, they state it is A and that the answer is three. However when you go into the question section, the answer choice for 3 is B. That's just an example of the silly and unprofessional mistakes I have been noticing in this book.

The explanations for why you may get certain answers wrong are also very poor. It's usually very cursory and you haveto do a lot of figuring out yourself to understand why you got something wrong (a good thing and bad thing I suppose).

I wholly do not recommend this book as I think these mistakes invariably forced me to evaluate this book as poorly done.

1-0 out of 5 stars Kindle edition was not done properly
I purchased the kindle edition and I am quitting at 16% done. I have found at least a dozen errors up to this point, and a lot of the examples are not even there, apparently as a result of them not checking to make sure that everything came over while transitioning the book to kindle edition. If you want this book, buy it in print, DO NOT get the kindle version.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the time or money
I have just finished this book and taken an actual practice LSAT.I can say that while it may have some benefit if you are comparing it to sitting on your ass and taking the LSAT, that is about the extent of it.I wish I would have spent my $25 on a Powerscore Bible; I have heard good things about their books. The McGraw Hill is full of bad answer explanations (i.e. "This Point is irrelevant"or "This answer is probably not the case").While their explanation may be true it definitely does not help to "explain". The Logic games are ok but are too constrained in the rigid scenarios they use.(i.e. "If ABCDEF all eat at a diner on different nights, according to..."). Basically since they do not use real LSAT data and their tips and lessons dont really help, I would not recommend this book.I am glad that I signed up for a class and not taking the test tomorrow.

P.s. Who cares about the CD its not the same as taking a hard copy of the test and you cannot print it out.
