A great read
For those seeking a nostalgic look back at great sporting events, Mel Allen with Frank Graham has provided just the right text. The mixture of inspiration, warmth, and admiration the two bring to their stories in this fine paperback makes this title especially endearing to those who remember Allen, remember stories of football players running the wrong way, and pitchers walking ten men, and in the ninth inning of the same World Series game still hoping to keep a no-hitter going... Incredible & scholarly 196pp publication. Covers everything in detail from A-to-Z for hand held sails and sailing except for patented design held by G.Harpole - mentioned, but under patent protection at time of Friary's writing. Harpole's handbook is now available: How to Make Low- and High-budget Parking-Lot Sails and How to Use Them (54pp)(http://www.wic.net/~gharpole/PrkLtSail/). Friary's book is the best book for the buck I've run into for a long time. My Parking-Lot Sails handbook should top it off.
