Monster Trucks
My 5 year old twin grandsons will love this book. They have every monster truck that has been made to date!!! The book is very detailed and interesting for young children.

Fun for you little Monster Truck fans
Although dated your little Monster Truck fans would enjoy learning more about the trucks as you read to them or they read it. It is dated and not including most of the famous trucks today. The book is informative and aims at teaching little ones about the trucks and teh information still works today.

Too small
I was a bit disappointed by the book size but our grandson seemed to like it so I guess it is OK

More of a pamphlet than a book
This book is very small and thin. I thought it would be the usual size of a children's book with a hard cardboard cover. Instead it is a small and thin booklet with card stock like cover. Also I paid $10! Certainly not worth the cost in my opinion.

A Must-Have in Our House!
Yep, we borrowed this book from the library... twice... and my boys still wanted to read it daily.I decided to purchase it and was happily surprised to find it in board book form (the library version was traditional hard back copy).My sons are 1.5 and 3 years old... great read for toddlers.This book is not about monster trucks in the ESPN sense of the word "monster."Rather, the trucks themselves have monster personalities and physical features!Very fun book!

Happy kid, happy parent
This is a really fun book.My son loves the illustrations of the various vehicles and I think it's fun to read.The rhyming, alliterative wording rolls right off the tongue.The only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars is because one page talks about a garbage truck burping.Not a big deal, but for a 3/4 year old, hearing "burping" results in trying to make burping sounds and ridiculous giggles.Not a deal breaker, but something of note. We've had this book for a year and read it several times a week and still, the faux-burping continues.All in all, great for any child who loves trucks!!

My son can't get enough of this book
We got this book from the library and now that it needs to go back I don't think my son will part with it. We read it 4-5 times a day and then when we aren't reading it he sits alone and pretends to read it. I need to get him his own.

Love This Book
I got this book for my 3 yr old car/truck/semi crazed little boy. We read it night after night. Now whenever we pass by a truck he asks me what is it's name? Not asking if it's a dump truck or not but if it's Chuck the dump truck. It's a very well written book. I took it to his preschool of half autistic half not autistic kids and it kept the whole class entertained. Especially the boys! It's very lyrical and the reading of it flows smoothly.

we love this book!
My son picked this book out at the library on a whim. However, now whenever we have to return it on our next trip we have to go straight to get "the truck book mom". No other truck book will do. and no other books are needed. It is a great book because it is simple and fun without too many details for little ones with limited attention spans. Short but Sweet
This is a quick read, but with good illustrations. Unless a child is a reader, sounding out the words, you'll blow through this rather quickly. That can be ok for times when you need a quick distraction for a few minutes, waiting rooms, etc... Order the whole series to keep them busy for a while.

Made a reader of my Grandson
My three year old Grandson loves anything with wheels on it.He has never been interested when I try to get him to look at a book while I read it to him.Now he is bringing this book to me and asking me to read to him.He has decided books can be fun too.

PERFECT!
My 4-year-old son is hugely into Monster Trucks and Monster Jam, so this book is a great pleaser for him.This is the perfect book for young ones who love anything with wheels on it (especially when they're big wheels).

Enjoyable
This book is very enjoyable with two to four year olds of our family;however, I was disappointed that Tonka was listed on every truck...and not real monster trucks that compete were highlighted....My fault I guess since I didn't realize it was a generic type book.

The two year old in our family really enjoyed it, but our young four year old who is reading some now was disappointed not to enjoy a story with real trucks like Gravedigger/Eradicator/etc.

I am searching now for a "real monster jam book" and I think he will enjoy it more.

Not for children
I was dissapointed this came up under drawing books for children; the content is inappropriate for kids. For example, chase scenes with guns and shooting. Book does not show many steps how to draw the cars.For adults who have drawing skills.

A must for historical perspective of Monster Truck
This book is about a decade old but still is a very good book on the history of Monster Trucks. Loaded with super photography and tons of color photos of trucks gone by and the beginnings of some of the famous trucks today. Bigfoot fans will not be disappointed by Gravedigger fans may as it is not featured largely in the book. That said it is a must for grown up Monster Truck fans.

Monster Truck book.
bought this book for my 3.5yr old son.He is a huge fan of Monster trucks.Liked the book.It had lots of great information and pictures.I was disappointed there was little information about Monster Jam.The index was pretty bad.I couldn't find references to people indicated in the index.I was disappointed when the cover came off about a week after we got it.

do not pass this book by.This book is crammed full of many different photos and things of interest; about Monster Trucks. THE Best Book of Monster Trucks
This book is the best book I have ever seen on monster trucks. The pictures are amazing, the other content is really good as well, and the book is just over all great. My son LOVES this book.

Awesome for little boys
I have been reading this book with my son, age 4, for a week.The book is not too long and it has really great photos in it.There are plenty of small snippets of information for reading so you can read a little on each page out loud without having to read it all.We checked it out from the library and I can't believe it is here in hardcover for five bucks.Truly worth the money.

Monster Truck History
We ordered this book for my 3 year old son who is really into Monster trucks right now. Of course he can't read so he just looks at the pictures, but I have read a few pages here and there during the thousands of times we have looked at it, and it is actually pretty interesting! It discusses the conception of monster trucks, how Bigfoot really changed the whole thing and then how it turned from a novelty into more of a sport. It is a very informative book. And the photos are terrific. As a 35 year old woman, I never thought I would learn about things like monster trucks... but having two sons has changed that idea. :-) This is a good book for any age looking to find out more about monster trucks! ... Monster trucks for babies
This is a fantastic book for your toddler!We have 5 year old twins that LOVE moster trucks and decided to get our 1 year old a monster truck book for his 1st birthday!Now they can all play together and the 5 year oldeven like the baby's book!

I purchased this for my grandson who is going to be 4 - he is a monster truck fanatic and is always looking for more things on them - I plan to get more of these on other subjects - the pictures were great along with the simple lines about the picture there were enough items on the pages to change things up to finding the colors, how many of things etc I still choose the board books because at his age they stand up better and he has a younger sister who is also into trucks too! ... 5 year-old loves it!
My five year-old son (an early reader) loves these books.He's been through all the Captain Underpants books, and I didn't think we'd find another series he enjoyed as much.But these books are a huge hit!Lots of illustrations, and just his level of humor.My only complaint is that they are so short - he's almost made it through the series already.

Kids will LOVE it
Just got a few of this series for my 8 year old and he is reading about 1 a day and has asked for more of them.They are admittedly short but my son has been a resistant reader and loves these!!So keep them coming!!

Pretty cute!
My three sons love to read books filled with humor and this book delivered many laughs.

Grampa and Wiley have a wild adventure when they decide to attend a monster truck show, starring Dracula (a man who resembles a 'red-neck' Elvis) and his amazing 'Mudsucker.' It just so happens that the day of the monster truck show is Halloween and the weather is expected to be fierce- with an F5 tornado fast approaching. Not only will the two have to fear the tornado and the sary creatures at the truck show, but also Gramma's wrath. Which is worse? They soon find out.

This book is filled with many laughs and a great adventure. Just when you think it's gonna get scary, things start to surprise you! Very cute. Can't wait to read #2.

Fun Book To Read
I love the Wiley & Grampa series by Kirk Scroggs. Dracula vs. Grammpa at the Monster Truck Rally is great for the Christmas season. It's the first in the series. So, be sure to check out the rest. These books are a lot of fun for boys who might be picky about what they read. If your child loves the Captain Underpants books, then turn him on to these.
