AWESOME F1 POPUP BOOK!!!
This book is packed with information about anything anyone would want to know about F1 racing. I must have looked through it for 3 hours when I first got it!

Has many large pop ups of full F1 cars, pitstop crews at work, car carriers,racing crashes, an F1 car cockpit, an internal combustion engine and a full 3D paper model of a 1954 Maserati 250F F1 car driven by Juan Manuel Fangio!

This book includes 3D glasses that can be worn to view certain diagrams in the book that show different racing lines and cutaways of cars, etc. I didn't really find the 3D glasses very effective though.

It comes with a CD that's an hour long of racing sounds of different cars, very cool! There are MANY pullout pamphlets with information ranging from vintage race pamphlets, diagrams and info on every modern F1 track, one about the teams that took part in the 98-99 season, glossary of terms, F1 timeline, the all time great drivers of F1, and others!

This book is packed with interactive pulldowns and diagrams explaining the different technical aspects of F1 as well, from the Aerodynamics to the Engines to the logistics of moving an entire race team around the world! This book is highly recommended for the F1 fan, excellent!! ... Read more

OK, but not extraordinary
I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with this book, both with text and photography. OK, the author covers all the major rivalries of the sport and the basic stories behind them, starting with Fangio and Moss in the 50s, all the way up to Hill vs. Schumacher in the 90ies. But considering some of the most sizzling temper-clashes on track, like Senna vs Prost, the book comes off pretty lame. The photography is OK, but not superb, and that is another letdown, considering that this is a coffee-table size book that is seeking balance between pictures and words. If you are a fan, it completes your collection, but don't go out of your way to find this. I recommend finding it used.
