This is a good starter bmx book on many beginner tricks and has good pictures. but i recommend Dave Mirras Beginner Bmx video as a supplement.

Very Basic book
I bought this book for my 11 year old who is started BMX racing earlier this year.I did not notice that the recommended age is 4-8.After looking at it.I would suggest the recommended ages are 3-6.I gave it to my 5 year old. If you or your child have ever been to a BMX race, you will not learn anything from this book.It is strictly for people who know nothing about BMX racing.That said, it is a good book for what it is.It provides an overview of BMX racing and defines the basic terms.For young children not familiar with BMX, it is a good introduction. ...
