WORS Racing 2003 - America's Largest Mountain Bike Racing Series - Wisconsin Off
Official site of the Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS), with 12 races from May through October.

Extractions: Welcome WORS Racers, 2003 will also see the introduction of a six race WORS Short Track Series and a six race WORS Trail Run Series. These events will be held on Saturdays at select venues throughout our twelve race cross-country series. The WORS Racing website will continue to provide a message board (for rider input), WORS news updates, on-line registration for both the series and individual events, race results, etc. An exciting new registration option available online is the All-In-One Registration, which will register a competitor for the series an all twelve events with one easy form. WORS will bring back its on-line store with expanded offerings of WORS wear. The store should be in place by the end of February. WORS has again partnered with Midwest Photos for photo coverage of events including website gallery postings and the opportunity for racers to purchase race photos. WORS has done some reorganization for 2003 with standardized age categories between all classes and the introduction of the Citizen Youth Class as a subclass of Citizen to encourage a greater number of younger rider to make the transition from our Kids Races to regular WORS competition. We continue to encourage racers to experience the challenges putting on a WORS event. WORS racers volunteering to work an event receive "volunteer points". Please contact the local race director of an event for which you can volunteer as soon as possible. All participants will benefit from reading and familiarizing themselves with all the guidelines and rules which govern WORS in the Guidelines pages of this handbook.

Join us for some of the most enjoyable off-road riding available. Gorrick have access to six distinctive all weather courses set in a mix of forests and heathland incorporating; rolling fire roads, forest tracks, firebash, winding single track, climbs and descents, stream crossings and technical sections unique to each venue. Our events attract large numbers of riders from across the South of England, who are fully supported by a computerised results system providing position and lap time readouts on the day, race commentary, hot and cold refreshments, trade stands, St. John Ambulance safety cover, mobile marshalls with radio link, toilets and free parking on hard fire roads. There are plenty of vantage points for safe spectating, so bring your family and friends.
