In awarding the grant, Supreme Master Carl Anderson said, "The Knights of Columbus, at all levels, have a long history of supporting the courage and commitment of Special Olympics athletes. This grant, from our youth programming fund is on behalf of the thousands of Knights of Columbus members throughout North America who honor and cherish the abilities of these outstanding individuals."
