From the supplier: Three hundred and nineteen faculty members of the US and Canadian universities published at least one article in park, recreation and leisure studies (PR & L) journals from Jan 1985 to Dec 1991. Ninety-eight percent of the ten prominent PR & L journals were studied, and points were awarded to each university based on the number and the type of articles. Only universities granting PR & L degrees were included in the survey, and the University of Illinois secured the maximum points. The survey did not cover articles in related journals or Canadian publications.
