Product Description

The goal of the book is to summarize those methods for evaluating Feynman integrals that have been developed over a span of more than fifty years. The book characterizes the most powerful methods and illustrates them with numerous examples starting from very simple ones and progressing to nontrivial examples. The book demonstrates how to choose adequate methods and combine evaluation methods in a non-trivial way. The most powerful methods are characterized and then illustrated through numerous examples. This is an updated textbook version of the previous book (Evaluating Feynman integrals, STMP 211) of the author.

Product Description

The problem of evaluating Feynman integrals over loop momenta has existed from the early days of perturbative quantum field theory.

Although a great variety of methods for evaluating Feynman integrals has been developed over a span of more than fifty years, this book is a first attempt to summarize them. Evaluating Feynman Integrals characterizes the most powerful methods, in particular those used for recent, quite sophisticated calculations, and then illustrates them with numerous examples, starting from very simple ones and progressing to nontrivial examples.

Product Description
The book presents asymptotic expansions of Feynman integrals in various limits of momenta and masses, and their applications to problems of physical interest. The problem of expansion is systematically solved by formulating universal prescriptions that express terms of the expansion using the original Feynman integral with its integrand expanded into a Taylor series in appropriate momenta and masses. Knowledge of the structure of the asymptotic expansion at the diagrammatic level is key in understanding how to perform expansions at the operator level. Most typical examples of these expansions are presented: the operator product expansion, the large-mass expansion, Heavy Quark Effective Theory, and Non-Relativistic QCD. ... Read more

Product Description
This book provides a detailed review of the modern theories dealing with the structure and properties of water. It also presents an analysis of the research on the effect of activated water on biological systems such as animals, microorganisms, and plants. The results of experiments on the influence of activated water on pure microbiological cultures and their natural associations are described, the studies being carried out under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

The results demonstrate a significant influence of activated water on higher plants (vegetable crops), sterile plants, and callus tissues. It is shown that the activation of water under definite conditions gives rise to the appearance of very strong bactericidal properties: activated water inhibits the development of pathogenic microbiological cultures by tens and hundreds of times more strongly, and can be used for sterilization. In addition, a potent positive effect of activated water on the prevention and treatment of cancer in mice has been observed, and its efficacy compared to that of chemotherapy is discussed in the book.

The information provided in this book is supported by intensive experimental data and developed theories. The research programs were conducted at the authors' laboratories in Ukraine and Russia as well as at research facilities located in the USA.

  • Introduction to the Theory of Water Memory and General Principles of Water Activation
  • Molecular Resonance Effect Technology as the Basic Method for Activation of Liquid Substances
  • Study of the Physical Properties of MRET Activated Water
  • Influence of MRET Activated Water on the Growth of Higher Plants
  • Effects of MRET Activated Water on Microbial Culture and Natural Microbial Associations

Excerpt: Theodore Aronovich Rothstein (1871 1953) was a journalist, writer and communist. He served as a Soviet ambassador in the 1920s. Theodore Aronovich Rothstein was born 1871 in the Imperial Russian city of Kovno (present-day Kaunas, Lithuania), the son of a Jewish family. Rothstein left Russia in 1890 for political reasons and settled in Britain. He worked as a journalist in the area of foreign policy for The Tribune, the The Daily News, The Manchester Guardian, and became a member of the National Union of Journalists. Furthermore he was active in London as a correspondent for some radical Russian newspapers. Rothstein also wrote articles for Die Neue Zeit, the organ of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), which represented the direct way of a consistent Marxism and in which took place debates regarding Marxism and socialism. In 1895, he joined the Social Democratic Federation (SDF) which was founded by Henry Hyndman in 1884. He occupied the left wing of the party as a prominent theorists and forward thinker, and in 1900 he was elected to its executive. Within the SDF's successor, the British Socialist Party (BSP), was he a leader of the opposition to Hyndman's support for the war. After Hyndman and his supporters left the BSP, Rothstein became a leading figure in the formation of the Communist Party of Great Britain. He also joined the Russian Social Democratic and Labour Party as a British member in 1901, siding with the Bolsheviks against the Mensheviks and becoming a close comrade of Lenin, who often stayed at Rothstein's house on Clapton Square in the Hackney area of London....More: http://booksllc.net/?id=9296735 ... Jirov won the Olympic gold medal at Atlanta in 1996. Soon after, he moved to the United States, settling in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he married and began to train at the SAR Club's boxing gym. Jirov made his debut as a professional on January 18, 1997, with a two round knockout of Vince Brown in Las Vegas. He won eleven fights that first year, all by knockout, including wins over Exum Speight and Art Jimmerson. In 1998, he won eight fights, six before the final bell. On May 5, he won the WBC's regional cruiserweight title with a 12 round decision over Rich La Montaigne, who became the first boxer to last the full distance against Jirov. On December 5, he once again fought in Ukrainian territory. In his first fight as a professional in Ukraine, he beat Alex Vassilev in Kiev by decision in eight. In 1999, Jirov was given his first world title try: In front of an HBO Boxing audience, he beat IBF world Cruiserweight champion Arthur Williams by a knockout in seven rounds at Biloxi, Mississippi, to become that organization's world cruiserweight champion. For his first defense, he fought at the main supportive event at the Felix Trinidad-Oscar De La Hoya undercard on September 18, retaining the crown with a ten round knockout of Canadian Dale_Brown_(boxer).
