Kamalakara Rao (Hyderabad) and Inderpal Singh (Delhi) took the top spot in the list of competitors surpassing the tally of the top placed Delhi pair of Mrs. Kiran Nadar and B. Satyanarayana scoring 370 VP at the end of 11th round of matches in all-India Sir Padampat Singhania bridge here today. Kiran Nadar and Satyanarayana of Delhi held the sway from round 5 to 10. In the11th round the Delhi pair lost to Subhash Gupta and Paresh Gupta, also from Delhi. This defeat cost Mrs. Nadar and Satyanarayana 49 out of available 50 VPs. Nadar and Satyanarayana scored only one and with that the Hyderabad and Delhi combination overtook the Delhi duo having scored 32 VPs in their match. The Delhi pair of Nadar and Satyanarayana remained second with 367 VPs. The Maharashtra pair of Ajit Chakradeo and Rajendra Gokhale, who began well remained at the third place with a tally of 349 VPs. By the dint of its meritorious 49-1 win against Kiran Nadar and B. Satyanarayana - Subhash Gupta and Paresh Gupta from Delhi surged ahead and stood 4th having 329 VPs.

Adi 11/24] He is referred to as Kamalakanta Pippalai in Sri Caitanya-bhagavata. In Krsna-lila, his name is Mahabala. In the Sripat Parjatan and Vaisnava-acara-darpane it is said that he was present during the Danda Mahotsava at Panihati (Sakabda 1439), and also at the festival at Kheturi, (Sakabda 1504). He was also present at the festival honoring the disappearance of Dasa Gadadhara at Katwa. (Hey man this book ain't accepted by authorities) In Jayananda's 'Caitanya Mangal' it is stated that Kamalakar Pippalai's nature was very intense. Nityananda gave him the village of Panihati. [Bijoy Khanda] "Pandit Kamalakanta was extremely intense. Nityananda gave him the village of Saptagram." [C.B. Antya 5.729] Kamalakar Pippalai married later on in life. He had one daughter by the name Vidyonmala-devi. It is mentioned in Nityananda-vamsa-vistara that this daughter was later married to Sudhamaya Cattopadhyaya of Mahesa. (They had a daughter at Puri, Narayani devi, who was later married to Virabhadra Gosai. According to Vaisnava-acara-darpana, however, the son-in-law of Kamalakar is Yadunandana. [V.a.d. page 10] According to the descendents of Kamalakara Pippalai at Mahesa, his daughter's name was Radharani, and Kamalakar's younger brother's daughter was named Rama-devi.
