Since starting piano at the age of five, she has won numerous awards and competitions, among them the Teenagers' Piano Competition, Samick Piano Competition, and Chosun Newspaper Music Competition. She was a prize-winner in the Moscow International Junior Chopin Competition and has been invited to perform in Warsaw by the International Chopin Foundation. She has appeared as a recitalist in the Kumho Prodigy Concert Series and as soloist with the Poland National Wieniawski Philharmonic. In 2002, she will present a concert tour in Poland with recitals and concerto appearances.
