Extractions: March 2001 Obituaries In Order by Last Name March 1, 2001 SUZANNE T. BELLINGHAUSEN Suzanne T. Bellinghausen, 73, was born June 22, 1927 in Leavenworth, KS to Henry and Bertha Theel. She passed away Feb. 13, 2001. As middle child of nine children, she discovered her appreciation for laughter and the human spirit from her family. After graduating from Leavenworth High School, she moved to Kansas City, MO to find a job. There she met Paul Dean Lundy and they married on Dec. 24, 1946, Christmas Eve the day they both had off work. In 1948, to try their hand at farm and family, they moved to Harwood. It was the last time she moved, even though farming proved difficult over the years. She grew deep roots in the area she soon loved and, by the sea of her love, the family bloomed even in drought. Paul Lundy died prematurely in an automobile accident, October 1966. She was strong and supported her family working as a secretary for Walker High School. On Jan. 2, 1970, she married Jermone Leo Bellinghausen, who soon became the loving husband, father and grandfather.
