The Computational Physics program is designed for students who wish to seek employment after the BS degree, as well as students who wish to pursue graduate studies. The physics content of the program is such that students can pursue a traditional graduate program in physics; on the other hand, there are now a number of graduate programs in Computational Science, for which students with the BS in Computational Physics will be well qualified. The recently established UB Center for Computational Research provides an outstanding supercomputing facility for students in this program to complete undergraduate research projects.
