I have several books on Bacon, and this is by far the best.This book is actually one of the best artist monographs I have seen in terms of images.There are 195 full color plates, along with 21 gate-folds of Bacon's triptychs--and these are LARGE plates too.Small essay in the beginning, but if you just want to look at Bacon paintings, buy this book. ...
