[Submitted by: CGrantFlet@aol.com THE STORY OF MARSINA DORTHEA LARSEN BLENCH by Leona Dorthea Mayberry Fletcher, 1970 Dorthea was born 11 November 1842 in Tolne, Hjorring Denmark. Her father Jorgen Larsen, was born 5 September 1812 - her mother, Bertha Marie Anderson born 26 December 1811, died 19 Jul 1865 Molholm, Tolne. She had one Brother, Jans Larsen Jorgensen, older, who was born 14 June 1839. He went into the Army to serve the King, as that was the law in Denmark. The Danish were afraid of the Germans, but he married a German girl, and although we do not know her name, we have her Picture. He apparently died abt 1890. We have no record of any Children. Altho her name was Marsina Dorthea, she always went by the name of Thea, as a nickname, and Dorthea as her mainly used name. Three of her granddaughters are named after her, Dorthea Elizabeth Jardine, called Libby - who married Frank L. Hammond; Eliza Dorthea Blanch, daughter of Joseph Blanch - who married Parley Le Wagstaff, and Leona Dorthea Mayberry, who married Samuel Y. Fletcher. As of 1-13-2001 she has 229 descendents that we have record of. We are thankful for her life and the great effect her life has had on her descendents.

Holmberg, who won the previous event on the Swedish Match Grand Prix Sailing Tour, is making up for some poor results earlier in the year, but Mohr hasn't finish worse than third in the three events he's contested. Holmberg won the Trofeo Challenge Roberto Trombini last month in Ravenna, Italy, to put him and his Stora Enso Team onto the Swedish Match Grand Prix Sailing Tour scoreboard. He commented before this event, "we're looking forward to this, we've had a bit of a break, some vacation for the team, we've just done a little bit of practice at home, so we'll see how we do." However neither of these skippers can now win the Swedish Match Grand Prix Sailing Tour, of which this is the penultimate event, with Frenchman Bertrand Pace and America's Cup holders, Team New Zealand, the only possible winners. State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin at a press conference yesterday disclosed that the Board of Directors decided on procurement of Boeing 777 after a meticulous examination. Sources said Biman reached a near-breaking point, as it earned Tk 1,816 crore and spent Tk 1,836 crore in the 2001-2002 fiscal. Nasir Uddin, however, claimed that Biman already became a profitable airline, as it carried more than 1.5 million passengers during the just-concluded fiscal, making a record. Still, there is some deficit because Biman had to pay overdue bills that the previous government kept unpaid, the minister said, addressing the press conference at the Biman headquarters.

Russo, DDS; Hessam Nowzari, DDS; and Jorgen Slots, DDS, PhD The arbitrarily primed polymerase chain reaction technique (AP-PCR) was used to fingerprint Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans and Porphyromonas gingivalis isolates in 44-year-old African American male and female twins who had not lived in the same household for 26 years. Both twins exhibited severe loss of periodontal attachment on several maxillary and mandibular teeth. All isolates of A. actinomycetemcomitans yielded the same AP-PCR banding pattern, whereas the P. gingivalis isolates from each twin showed different AP-PCR profiles. The finding of the same amplitype of A. actinomycetemcomitans in both twins suggests a single source of the organism and possibly a persistence of the organism in each twin for at least 26 years. Journal of the California Dental Association Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans is a gram-negative, capnophilic coccobacillus that resides in supra- and subgingival plaque, tongue dorsum, buccal mucosa and saliva.1,2
