(4 JUL 1998, TIMES PICAYUNE) Joseph Benjamin Perrault Jr., a retired crane operator, died Wednesday of a heart attack at Wynhoven Health Care Center in Marrero. He was 71. Mr. Perrault was born in Melville and lived in Westwego for the past 47 years. Survivors include a son, Joseph Benjamin Perrault III of Lafitte; a daughter, Cheryl P. Garrett of Diamondhead, Miss.; four brothers, Bill, Manny, Earl and Donny Sanders; three sisters, Eloise Lee, Lucille Perrault and Earline Moreau; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A private funeral was held Friday.
