One Question To Success
An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don't.
The faculty of doubting is rare among men. A few choice spirits carry the germs of it in them, but these do not develop without training. When a thing has been said and said well, have no scruple. Take it and copy it. Man is so made that he can only find relaxation from one kind of labour by taking up another. A good critic is one who narrates the adventures of his mind among masterpieces.

Viale Michelangelo and Anatole France
Anatole France
From the piazzale you can go back to downtown through several roads. The most important is the viale Michelangelo. It is really a very beautiful boulevard. Though, I will not speak about it. Maybe in another occasion.
I was tempted to snap a shot of a statue that attracted me for its melancholy: it is a bust of a man who is looking to the town vaguely.
I wondered who he was.
It is written in the pedestal: he is the famous french writer Anatole France.
In fact he wrote "the red lily" , a novel in which he spoke of Florence.
This is the epigraph:
ANATOLE FRANCE
IN THE RED LILY CELEBRATED FLORENCE AND ITS HILLS GIFT OF FRANCE TO THE TOWN OF FLORENCE MAY 1955 The sculptor was Emile Antoine Bourdelle You have to visit this spot: it is a very romantic, shadowy belvedere. Florence it is just underneath but it appears very far. It is a good place to go with your sweetheart, to sit in one of the benches, and to rest awhile.

már megöregedett Sully Prudhomme lesz a legelso irodalmi nobeldíjas költoipályáját a Verlaine-nel csaknem egyidos - akkor 22 éves - anatole france.
http://www.hmg.hu/irok/xxszazad/euproza/france.htm
