Synchronized diving, trampoline, taekwondo and triathlon joined the ever-expanding circle of Olympic events at the Games of the 27th Olympiad, which concluded here Sunday, and each was a well-received debutant. Divers enjoyed having some company in the spotlight atop the 10m platform and 3m springboard, performing their flips and twists in side-by-side routines. "I'm very happy synchronized diving was introduced," said Russian diving star Dmitry Sautin. "It's very handsome and very pleasant to look at."
