The department has several divisions and programs that deal with water issues. The Missouri Forest Products Association (MFPA) has initiated a hotline for citizens who have observed possible improper timber harvesting practices, according to Cory Ridenhour, MFPA executive director. The purpose of the Forestry Inconsistent Practices Program hotline - (573) 681-9358 - is to give people the opportunity to report suspected cases of timber harvesting that do not follow the association's best management practices, Ridenhour said.

Min. 10-30-87, 6-19-92, 3-18-93, 9-28-01. 310.020 REGULATIONS GOVERNING APPLICATION OF TENURE The following regulations, under which the Board intends to exercise the powers vested in it, govern the application of the principle of tenure at the University of Missouri, but these regulations shall not impair, or be taken to waive, any powers now or hereafter vested in the Board under the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri. At the same time, the Board recognizes that matters relating to faculty status are primarily a faculty responsibility. Recommendations in matters of appointment, reappointment, nonreappointment, promotion, tenure, and dismissal shall be by the appropriate faculty through established procedures, followed by action by administrative officers, with final determination by the appointing authority. A. CLASSES OF ACADEMIC STAFF APPOINTMENTS Academic staff appointments are those in which the principal responsibilities are teaching, research, extension, academic service, or any combination thereof. RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CHARITABLE TRUST
OF THE MISSOURI FAMILY TRUST Acceptance
Responsibility for Investments

The responsibility and authority for investment and management of the funds held hereunder shall be vested in the Board of Trustees and its successors. The Board of Trustees shall have full power and authority to manage and control the trust funds held hereunder. The income earned, after deducting administrative expenses of the Trust and of the Board of Trustees, shall be used as hereinafter set forth. The administrative expenses of the Board of Trustees shall be paid to the Board of Trustees not less frequently than quarterly.
Powers of Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees shall have all powers granted to trustees acting under Chapter 456 RSMo and shall have any powers specifically granted to the Board of Trustees under Sections 402.199 through 402.215 RSMo, as the same may be now in effect or hereafter be amended. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to amend these Rules and Regulations, from time to time. The Board of Trustees shall have authority to appoint such investment counselors, managers and advisors as it may select from time to time and to pay reasonable fee for such services. Compensation of Trustees
The Board of Trustees may charge a reasonable fee to pay the costs and expenses of administration and organization of the Trust; provided, however, unless otherwise specifically agreed to, such fee shall not exceed the fees charged from time to time by trust companies conducting business in the Kansas City and St. Louis metropolitan areas; and, provided, further, however, in no event shall the fee charged by the Board of Trustees exceed the amount of income earned by the Trust. The fees charged by the Board of Trustees shall be deducted not less frequently than quarterly from the Charitable Trust.

    PURPOSE:
    The Missouri Technology Olympiad is designed to serve as a forum for demonstration of new and innovative activities by students. The Technology Olympiad is intended to promote and improve scholarship, craftsmanship, problem solving and the understanding of technology.
    The Missouri Technology Olympiad is co-sponsored, conducted, and financed by members of the Missouri Industrial Technology Education Association Missouri Technology Student Association , and other interested professionals.
    MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
    Students and teachers participating in the Missouri Technology Olympiad are not required to participate in local and district events, but are strongly encouraged to participate in and be active members of local, district, and state organizations which provide both leadership and financial support to the Missouri Technology Olympiad.
    Individual membership with MITEA (Missouri Industrial Technology Education Association) or school district membership with ITEA (International Technology Education Association) ARE REQUIRED for participation in Missouri Technology Olympiad.
