I didn't know what it was or who it was, but I nearly drove off Highway 68 into the trees when I heard it. I called the station to ask who it was. They told me it was bluegrass music by the Osborne Brothers. Since then, I've played bass in bluegrass bands, hosted a bluegrass radio show, co-founded The Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society , gone to Banjo Camp (twice), told my share of banjo jokes, and even jammed with a bluegrass band in Ireland.
