This is an adorable Ginny with red hair, blue eyes wearing an outfit from the Debutant series #60 called Pamela 1953 with original green center snap shoes, pink socks, straw hat and 2 petticoats to make the dress nice and full. She has some very nice features, but also some problems. Her lashes are light, but have turned and one leg has a split on the mold line. She has nice hair and nice color on her cheeks. One of the 2 petticoats is net and lace with the cotton Vogue tag. The dress has the 1952 Rayon tag with Vogue on it. The flowers on the dress have been flattened, the green velvet has wear and there is a rip in the back of the organdy skirt. The straw hat is cute, but I am not sure of the origin. In spite of these problems she still looks very good.

This is an early 1950s painted lash strung Ginny. She has blue eyes, light brown lashes and a new blond wig. She is wearing the Brides dress #64 in the "My First Corsage" series. She has off-white satin slippers with satin bows. She is in very nice but played with condition. The dress is very full but limp and some lace at the cuff is splitting. She could use a veil or some flowers in her hair. She is lovely even with a few played with problems. More pictures: Price: More pictures: Price: Vogue Ginny is ready for the foul weather with her nice raincoat with zipper, the rainhat and nice black oilcloth boots. She just wears a cute pair of printed underpants under the raincoat (no room for anything else under that coat). She is a bit under the weather as her eyelashes have turned and the color on her cheeks have also changed to yellow. I have never seen this before. Maybe some rouge would help. She is still very cute with all her rain gear.

Hemenway School - $400.00 Program intent is to provide young children with the opportunity to engage in early literacy activities with their family members and to inform their parents or guardians of relevant literacy related issues, child development, and developmentally appropriate practices. The project will enhance knowledge of phonemic awareness, letter-sound associations, story structure, regular and sight word vocabulary, and author or illustrator's style. (Kindergarten students and parents/guardians) PUZZLE MAT MATH GAMES : Margy Capuano, Carol Lach, and Laura Pollack/Project Directors - Hemenway School - $700.00 Program intent is to implement a multiple intelligence approach to the teaching of mathematics at all grade levels. This mode of understanding is enhanced by using puzzle mats as the basis of linking the bodily kinesthetic, spatial and mathematical knowledge students innately possess. The puzzle mats will be used as number lines to distinguish odd and even numbers by using athletic tape to indicate the numbers and may also be used for counting, addition, and subtraction. Additionally, the mats can be used to develop a number grid which will demonstrate the connection between multiplication and division. Fraction concepts will be taught with squares made from 4, 16 or more mats. (Students from every grade level will be involved)

Jill Euken , family life field specialist Situation Statement
BioMass Agri-Products (B/MAP) L.L.C is a producer-owned, early stage company located in Harlan, Iowa. The business was formed after a feasibility study was conducted in 1999. The study clearly identified the economic viability for the development of a system of biorefineries that convert annually renewable feedstocks to fibers and fiber-based products, transportation fuels, and chemicals. The study also provided ample evidence of the need for a business that harvests, collects, pre-processes, fractionates and markets the component parts of agricultural residues. It illustrated the potential for the development of a system of co-located processing plants that process cellulose components into various fuel, fiber and chemical products. B/MAP's first commercial product is hydromulch. B/MAP originally negotiated a contract to process, bag and ship 10,000 tons of processed corn stover fiber per year for 3 years to Mat., Inc. (Mat, Inc. is one of the world's largest wholesalers of hydromulch and seeding products.) The demand for the product has been so great that a new contract with Mat was negotiated late in 2000 for 60,000 ton over the three years. B/MAP is currently evaluating opportunities to produce fiber to supply manufacturers of disposable beverage trays, seed mats, acoustical and insulator padding and shingles. B/MAP has been assisted throughout it's development by numerous faculty and staff of ISU and ISU Extension.

Alamo the alligator has everything he needs until a drought forces him to look for a new home. All the places he visits are unsatisfactory in some way, but a rainstorm finally carries him home and solves his water problem as well. Colorful illustrations, combined with a text that lends itself to reading aloud, provide an amusing tour of Texas scenery. Synopsis
On the Lavaca River in Texas, there once lived an alligator named Alamo. Life along the river suited Alamo perfectly, filled as it was with plenty of water, lots of tasty fish, and a fine shade treeuntil one year there came a drought. No more water. No more fish. No more shade. So Alamo sets off down the trail to find a new home. Full color. Card catalog description

Port Lavaca. Port the Cow. As an adult, I see my hometown as a sort of Brigadoon. A place off the maps. Where tortillas are still made by hand. Where alligators and javelina pigs still wander up to the porch. Where the language is like music. Music of the earth, dust, love, loss, hot sun and spicy peppers. As a kid, I watched a lot of TV. The shows on television brought clues to life on the outside. I studied the map to find the places where the TV people lived. Dick Van Dyke’s New Rochelle, New York. Mary Tyler Moore’s Minneapolis, Minnesota. The people in these places didn’t talk like us. They were crisp, direct, smart enough to be on TV. No one on TV talked like us, except on the Beverly Hillbillies and Heehaw, and everyone laughed at them.

A Few Moments with Tom Kenny As we've mentioned on the site before, one of the coolest things about this year's Comic-Con was the filming of a mockumentary (or, as director Mark Hamill prefers calling it, "…a documentary unencumbered by facts") called Comic Book: The Movie . Utilizing the Con as a backdrop for an improvised story of Hollywood greed versus the real passion of fandom, Hamill called up several of his friends from the voice-over industry to star. You know their voices, but you may not know their faces. Except for one, because he has a cult following outside of his recent popularity as the voice of Sponge Bob Squarepants . Before becoming an animated sea creature, Tom Kenny worked as a brilliant stand-up and a cast member/writer on the immortal (to us here at Fanboy Planet, anyway) Mr. Show with Bob and David . Unfortunately, he and his talented wife, Jill Talley , will not be on the Mr. Show
