Medieval Electronic Text Annotated Bibliography There are currently 337 entries in the METAB. You can search the bibliography , or you can add an entry (please do!) Purpose of the Bibliography Thanks for visiting! There are at least several hundred electronic texts available online for free. There are many medieval literature clearing houses, and some of them have links to e-texts. Most of them, however, only link to sites that house the etexts, making discovery of those sites' holdings difficult. That is the gap that this site tries to fill. This site will serve as a catalog for any medieval electronic text that is submitted. Each field is searchable or selectable and often an entry will hold bibliographic information if it is available. Authors and Literature Although the focus of this bibliography will remain medieval English texts, you will find other authors here as well. In general, you'll find poetry, prose, church and government documents from the late hundreds to the middle of the second millenium. At the moment, the METAB has entries for Alcuin Peter Alfonsi Asser John Audelay ... William? Dunbar? | |
