5-0 out of 5 stars The Last dissenting Witness
The way Bill Sloan wrote Jean Hill's side of her story of the assassination was in perfect terms. Jean Hill was the closest person to President Kennedy when the shots were fired and she saw where the shots came from and the feds tried to cover everything up. I believe that Jean Hill really knew and saw what happened that day in November. Anyone who would like to find out information about the assassination I believe this is the right book to read and hear what was truly covered up.

5-0 out of 5 stars JFK assassination
This is an excellent book written by the lady in red. Lots of information I didn't know. What the "forces" did to this woman is incredible.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Brave Jean Hill
People coming forward and having their lives changed is worthy noting and looking into.Jean went through so much and still sacrificed to tell a story when only it could be told, when she felt it was safe to do so.The Coup D' 'Etat that went through this public execution of our President JFK should be known, and what people have been put through because of people up top not wanting the word to get out.

4-0 out of 5 stars So Jean Hill is no John Dean
Just some thoughts on Jean Hill and her book.
The only book I've purchased and read so far regarding the JFK assassination that gives you an insight on how (in this case) one of the witnesses life was affected by being in Dealy Plaza on that fateful day.
She like most of the witnesses in Dealy Plaza said that she thought the shots came from the 'Grassy knoll'. She was man handled by so-called 'secret agents' 'Magic bullet man' also grilled her about her affair with a Dallas motorcycle Cop. He also goaded her about the `White dog she saw' which turned out to be White toy given to Jackie.
Jean and her young daughter were involved in a car crash, her Lover and a mechanic friend of his checked out the car and found that the track rod ends had come loose. They like any mechanical minded person came to the conclusion that the car had been tampered with. Track rod ends just don't come loose so easily, if they did cars by necessity would have radically different steering assemblies.
If you believe as I do that the witnesses in the Plaza were correct in their recollections of where the shots came from and also in their contact with (according to the official report NON EXISTANT) Dallas cops and Federal \ secret officials just minutes after the tragedy, then there must have been a conspiracy.
Some reviewers have described this book as nothing more than a novel, so I looked up the words definition in the 'Collins English dictionary'
Novel: An extended work in prose, either fictitious or partly so.
I see, it's a novel because some reviewers disagree with Jeans recollections or because her recollections changed over the years. SO WHAT. Most peoples recollections of their life experiences change over the years, does this mean all our memories can only be fit for a Novel rather than a autobiography No.
Now to why I titled this 'So Jean Hill is no John Dean' (I could have replaced John Dean with Harold Weisberg or Cyril Wecht)
During the Watergate scandal John Dean being Nixons Legal counsel was set up for a big fall however because he had a photographic memory he could recall incidents and conversations in great detail without wavering under cross examination he deflected the blame to Nixon's Front line and eventually to Nixon himself.
Most of us (including Jean) haven't got that type of memory or fortitude.
Jean Hill passed away in 2000, she was a primary school teacher. Whenever her young students asked her to tell her story of the assassination, which in their young eyes was a part of American social history, she was always struck by their reactions.
Her story will have left an indelible memory on a good percentage of them. I am sure some of the students will continue the search for the truth.
Jean Hill was just an ordinary mother and schoolteacher.
Arlen Specter is a Senator & highflying lawyer.
Only one of them is a great American in my book: Jean Hill R.I.P.

Good, but ULTIMATE SACRIFICE the best book ever

While I thought this book was worthwhile in many respects, ULTIMATE SACRIFICE is simply the best book ever on the JFK assassination.Still, worth your time.

Product Description
The doctors who tried to save President John F. Kennedy at Parkland Hospital in November of 1963 agreed-either out of respect or fear-not to publish what they had seen, heard, and felt. Then in 1990, one of the Dallas surgeons who worked on JFK in Trauma Room One, Dr. Charles Crenshaw, decided after much deliberation that the American people ought to know the truth. "The wounds to Kennedy's head and throat that I examined were caused by bullets that struck him from the front, not the back, as the public has been led to believe," says Crenshaw. When the first edition of this book was published in 1992, under the title JFK: Conspiracy of Silence, Crenshaw revealed what he never had to opportunity to tell the Warren Commission. In the aftermath, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) called Crenshaw's book "a fabrication." But JAMA's claim did not hold up in court and Crenshaw subsequently prevailed in a defamation suit against JAMA. In the process, a number of new medical disclosures and discoveries have emerged on the startling medical cover-up of the JFK assassination.CHARLES A. CRENSHAW, M.D. (1933-2001), a Texas native, was Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Surgery and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tarrant County Hospital District in Fort Worth. He received his BS from Southern Methodist University and his MS from East Texas State University. He worked on his Ph.D. at Baylor University Graduate Research Institute in 1957 and, in 1960, he earned his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He interned at Veteran's Administration Hospital and completed his residency at Dallas's Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he worked for five years. He taught at many institutions, including the UT Southwestern Medical School. He was honored with inclusions in numerous medical and professional societies and was published extensively. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars State sponsored murder
A military coup, pure and simple and they got away with it.
Look at the evidence:
Lee Harvey Oswald - Ex marine, Russian linguist, ex defecter to Russia, Military/CIA agent, shot by CIA/FBI agent Jack Ruby, real name Rubenstein (Jewish), senior undercover agent inside the Mafia.
Three ex Presidents involved in the murder on the day in Dallas.
Two ex CIA chiefs involved on that day too.

5-0 out of 5 stars An bullet entering the head from the front proves the killing of JFK was a conspiracy.

This book is a revision of the book by Dr Crenshaw with Jens Hanson and J. Gary Davis;with the title "JFK Conspiracy of Silence".After that book was published in 1992,the authors were slandered both personally and professionally by the Journal of American Medical Association. The authors filed a suit for slander and malice and the court ordered a monetary settlementby JAMA. The revision,"Trauma Room One" covers this suit and the results.
There have been thousands of books, articles, documentaries, films, investigations, commissions, etc about the killing of President Kennedy. There are countless motives, connections, theories, and conclusions about who did the killing, why, and who was behind it. No murder in the US has received more coverage and few even today believe the whole story has been revealed.
Many conspiracies have been generated around motives ,but the most important conspiracy of all, is whether or not JFK was hit in the front or both front and back of the head. If he received hits in both the front and back;then there had to be a conspiracy.
Dr.Crenshaw attended to JFK when he was brought to Parkland Hospital. He ,as well as other attending Doctors, were silent for several reasons about the President's wounds. There was no autopsy done at Parkland Hospital because the body was taken away by Feds and taken back to Washington, where an autopsy was carried out many, many hours later. The whys and wherefores of this is covered in the book and in many other books, etc.
What is different here is that Dr.Crenshaw, felt he could no longer remain silent about what he saw as wounds as they tried to save his life and what was reported and accepted by the Warren Commission.
Dr.Crenshaw unequivocally maintains there was one or more bullet entries in the front of the skull and a large section of the right rear of the skull had been destroyed by an exit of the bullet.
If the skull and other evidence is still available it should still be possible to determine if the Doctor was right. Much has been said about the autopsy in Washington and the state of the evidence.Furthermore ,there has been a 75 year freeze put on access to the evidence and investigations.Dr.Crenshaw died in 2001 .At least he is on record for what wounds he saw to the President.
One day,it may be resolved, and if Dr.Crenshaws assertations are confirmed to be true;that being there was a frontal bullet entry, then the murder of JFK was a conspiracy;and at the highest level of power in the US Government.
A very interesting read.

5-0 out of 5 stars Crenshaw sued JAMA for libel and won the case!!
There is no way Dr. Crenshaw is going to risk his reputation and credibility by lying to make a couple of bucks.his observations have been confirmed by other doctors who were in the trauma room that day!!an exit wound in the back of the head and an entrance wound in the front of the neck!!the only entity that has lost thier credibilty is the WC who lied to the american people

1-0 out of 5 stars Crenshaw lacks credibility
Crenshaw was most certainly there in the ER during the futile attempt to save JFK, but he has said some things that he must have made up.

For example, he claims to have seen a small "entrance" wound in JFK's throat. But he also claims to have gone into the ER with Dr. McClelland, and McClelland entered the ER *after* the throat wound had been obliterated by the tracheotomy.

His claim to have gotten a call from LBJ during the attempt to save Oswald just doesn't work.LBJ was headed out to the ceremonies during which JFK's body was moved to the Capitol.

Worst of all, in this book he claims that LBJ wanted a confession from Oswald. But in an earlier version of his story, LBJ demanded that Oswald be killed! It seems that people failed to believe this, and it was changed!

[...]

5-0 out of 5 stars Interesting Personal Account
Dr. Crenshaw was a resident in the Parkland Hospital Emergency Room on the day in 1963 when President Kennedy was brought in mortally wounded.Dr. Crenshaw assisted in providing emergency care to Kennedy and was present when Kennedy was pronounced dead.Crenshaw saw the wounds on Kennedy's body in Dallas and makes a significant contribution to the Kennedy Assassination lore by describing them.Crenshaw saw a bullet entry wound on the front of Kennedy's neck (that was later obliterated by a tracheotomy incision) and also saw a large gaping exit wound on the occipital skull. Those are 'fighting words' to Oswald fans because they were inflicted by shots from the front, and Oswald could have only shot from the rear.Dr. Crenshaw generally provides an excellent first-person account of the goings-on at Parkland Hospital on that terrible day, including the confrontation at gunpoint between the Secret Service Agents who were attempting to leave with the body and the coroner who was attempting to retain possession of the body long enough to perform an autopsy.Needless to say, the Secret Service agents with their drawn weapons won the day and the body was whisked away to Air Force One where new-President Johnson could keep tabs on it on the way back to Washington DC.Crenshaw's account of the confrontation is highly-entertaining readings. This book is a groundbreaking book that is required reading for anyone interested in the historical aspects of the Kennedy Assassination. ...
