Great For Any Fan.
Anyone Who Is In Love With This Couple As Much As I Am Will Love This Book.

Excellent..!
I've looked for a biography that speaks of headings and hAs Kurt and Courtney's opinions arranged by topic. Courtney's so intelligent. I read the back of her mother's biography, and to see the cover on the back, you'd think Courtney was a cross eyed retard who just has to be locked up forever. "Desperately attention seeking" and "confabulation" are words on the back. That, and the fact that her mother is a therapist and uses the word "healing" a lot makes me not want to open the book. But I've got a mind to see how it is..

I thought this was a great book. The book features quotes from both Kurt Cobain and Courtney love, on many different topics. The book also features some great photos of Kurt and Courtney. If you're a Courtney Love or Kurt Cobain fan, I highly recommend this book. You get the truth straight from Kurt and Courtney's mouths.

coffee-table book
Disappointing. It's the kind of book that was published about some guy who was smashed in a train wreck the day after it happened accompanied by a whole lot of pictures of the guy while he was alive and some liner notes and that's about it. No insight to be derived from here.

It's not manga
I bought the Roses & Tattoos book thinking it was a continuation of the Princess Ai series. It's not even a manga! But that's ok! It was a nicely bound hard cover that opened into a spiral bound "note book." It was a couple regular pages of introduction then quite a few oversized-baseball type cards inside plastic sleeves containting full art work (and some never before seen art) with poems by DJ Milky on the back. I gave this 3 stars because the poems were no where near as good as Courtney Love's awesome lyrics throughout the Princess Ai manga. I could say they were catchy poems, but mostly they just contained those sorts of melancholy key words that pepper secular goth fiction. There were also 9 pages of stickers, but it was the same 3 pages repeated. ... Read more

Excerpt: Eleni "Elena" Paparizou (Greek: , pronounced ; born 31 January 1982) often known internationally as Helena Paparizou, is a Greek singer and occasional songwriter, who was born and raised in Sweden. She began her career in 1999 as a member of the duo Antique, while she also worked briefly as a model for a Swedish-Greek brand. After rising to recognition in Greece following their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001, they witnessed commercial success until Paparizou embarked on a solo career in 2003 and released her debut album Protereotita (2004), with emphasis on more pop sounds in addition to the more traditional Greek laïko genre. Paparizou then won the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 for Greece for the first time in the contest's history, with the song "My Number One", something which significantly contributed to her career. Excerpt: Nobody's Daughter is the fourth studio album by Hole, released worldwide on 27 April 2010 (see release history). It is the first album to be released by Hole in twelve years, since 1998's Celebrity Skin, and also the band's first album since their reunion in 2009. Billy Corgan and Linda Perry were the principal personnel involved in the recording of the original version of the album, Courtney Love's How Dirty Girls Get Clean. Corgan helped Love lay down some demo tracks at Chicago's Village Recorder in 2006 and assumed the role of guitar player on most of the songs, as well as writing the main riff to "Samantha", while Perry co-wrote a number of songs and headed production. In a May 2006 interview, Perry stated that her "dedication right now is to bring back the queen of rock and roll, and that's Courtney Love... my job now is to make that rock and roll record that everybody's gonna love." However, after many failed attempts at recording the album throughout 2006-2008, Michael Beinhorn was hired as a producer in late 2008, along with an assistant producer, Owen Lewis. Love had stated in a blog post that her "final producer on this record is very strong as a man and has opinions very strongly- he did Celebrity Skin." Recording for the album began in Glenwood Place Studios in Burbank, California in January 2009 and continued there for a number of months. Further recording was done at Henson Recording Studios, where "Skinny Little Bitch", "Samantha" and the title track "Nobody's Daughter" are known to have been recorded.
