A little review
If you are a fan of the iconoclastic Jesus Christ Superstar, then you will love this little book.It is crammed with topical details about the various stages of Superstar, from initial record album conception, to Broadway and finally the West End of the early 1970s.I had not expected so much trivia in so little a paperback!There are dozens of humorous sketches and choice photos, and the occasional colored photograph that I had never seen before.Snatches of Tim Rice's libretto are strewn amidst interviews with Lloyd Webber and Rice.It all reads like a scrapbook with little off-shoot comments riddling the pages.It is a scandal that this has not been in reprint all these years.How I have managed without this gem all these years? I will never know?!

Great songbook!
To clear up any misunderstandings -- this is a song book, with sheet music for piano, guitar, and voice for selections of songs from the musical "Aspects of Love". The only story is what you can glean from thelyrics. That said, though, this is a fantastic rendition of the pieces ineasily performable format. This musical includes some of the most beautifulpieces written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, including "Love ChangesEverything", made famous by singer Michael Ball!
