Aaron is a whiz with computers but horrible with people. Painfully shy, it’s sometimes all he can do to communicate when he’s face to face with anyone. The fact that he has unusually red hair and gorgeous green eyes only makes it worse because people don’t want him to hide.

But then he’s called upon to troubleshoot a problem with the laptop of Yoshiki Fukui, a big shot executive with his company. Ki is brash, outgoing and painfully handsome and just being in his presence makes Aaron all jittery.

When Ki asks Aaron to help him set up a state-of-the-art entertainment system in his new house, Aaron can’t resist the lure. Little does he suspect that Ki’s got more than just technical help in mind.

Publisher’s Note: Tech Support is a yaoi-inspired novella. As such, it contains material that may be offensive to some readers: male/male sexual practices. ... Read more

Series: Leashed; Previous Book: More Than a Bargain

The legacy of the evil witch has left Meg with a heck of a lot of power and influence in the southwest United States. Much to her dismay, this means that just about everyone thinks she's a shoe-in to be the next grand dame.

What they don't get is that the last thing Meg wants is to be grand dame. She grew up watching her mother rule the paranormal community in the northeast US and it was enough to show her that she didn't want that kind of responsibility.

Terrance B. Sharpe proclaims himself to be the man for the job, however. He's even leashed the matriarch of L.A.'s very powerful lion's pride as a display of his prowess. It's through him that Meg meets an actor she's panted after for years. One of the lions, Logan Lockhart, not only makes her girl parts happy, he also fills her in on a thing or two about Sharpe that she'd rather not know.

But what the heck is she doing paying attention to Logan when she's already got two luscious shifters to call her own? Michael and Rudy are doing all they can to help her out, but Michael, as usual, has his own goals that don't always mesh with Meg's.

What's a girl to do when she's been handed a lion's share of power on a silver platter?

Two Short Stories and a Novella

Amos Lassen

"There's No Business like Show Business" is a line we have all grown up with but how often do we think of drag as a part of show business? This book has two short stories and a novella set in the drag world and we have three couples who rekindle the fires of love that had died.

Jet Mykles gives us great conflict in "Much Ado" as he tells us about Shawn and Roscoe. Shawn is a classically trained actor and his lover and former teacher, Roscoe, feels that he is not working up to potential. In earlier years Roscoe directed Shawn in "Much Ado about Nothing". Shawn had the role of Beatrice which caused him to realize that he was gay and that he enjoyed cross dressing and not just on the stage. Shawn tells Roscoe that he wants to do a one "woman" drag show and Roscoe, who has no problem with Shawn's cross dressing, thinks that is not good for his career and that he is throwing his talent away. The issue causes them to break up. A little over a year later Roscoe returns to Shawn to ask him to play Beatrice again in a new production about "Much Ado" and if Shawn accepts it could be a real boost to his career. It would also allow him to do some introspection about where he is career-wise and in life. Roscoe also hopes that this would reunite the couple.
We are drawn into the story at the very beginning and feel what is going on between the characters that are well developed by the author. We see that here as in everything else, compromise is necessary. This is an easy read and well written.

"All That Jazz" by Charlie Cochrane is also a good read and is the best of the three selections in the book. It is the story of Francis Yardly who has the role of Velma Kelly in "Chicago" when the story opens. His personal life, however, is not so good. A relationship just ended that has devastated him and he is completely vulnerable and driven to alcohol which causes him not to make the best decisions. One night he walked into bar and there he met Tommy Ferguson, a man Francis desires but the two have nothing in common. Strangely enough they come together and begin to build a relationship.
What Cochrane does in this story is give us two unforgettable characters; two characters that have nothing in common that because of a common trust are able to see each other for whom they really are. The relationship is based on honesty and it is that honest that allows Tommy and Francis to accept each other. And we learn something here as well--the book is about being true to oneself and learning to accept what is different and not judging someone initially but waiting and getting to know the other person. I loved this story for both what it says and how Charlie Cochrane says it.

"His Leading Man" by Kimberly Gardner is the novella and it is an emotional story. Our main character is David Sullivan, an author who has written a book that is being adapted for the movies. He goes to a party where he is introduced to Kieran Reilly, who just happens to be his ex-lover. They broke up because Kieran moved from New York to California to pursue his career. Although the two men loved each other, they went their separate ways and when they meet at the party, they realize that their feelings have not changed but that they have. There are conflicts everywhere as well as misunderstandings and the conflict is beautifully handled. Gardner gives us a story that moves smoothly and kept me reading and learning that a good relationship requires not only compromise but sacrifice.

This is the perfect book for short reads and I mean three good reads. Each of the stories is a complete unit and when taken together we get a look at show business from a whole different point of view.

4-0 out of 5 stars Exciting tale from Canadian flyer
Good story told by Greville Fox about his affair with flying that started before WWII broke out. Aquick read, this was a fun story. Written as if Fox were recalling his adventures to the reader, he tells how he started out as a mechanic before finally making his way into the left seat of a Canso. After WWII, he takes the reader along with him on his RCAF SAR and resupply missions in the arctic, jet training and other flying adventures - even his role with Link trainers and more.
Definitely recommed this to aviation enthusiasts, who enjoy reading about flying adventure.
Only negative was likely Kindle induced - the pages didn't line up and often the text was out of order - random paragrpagh, then I'd find the place it belonged a page or two later. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Transvestite romances are rare and I appreciate these three stories!
Transvestite romance are rare in the M/M romance genre and I really appreciate this well written and entertaining anthology.
Mykles' About Something is refreshing as one young man discovers his sexual orientation and his gratification in cross dressing even as he tries to seduce his aloof and much older acting class professor. A bit of angst here as the older and world wise Roscoe afraid of being Shawn's gay experience refuses to succumb to his irresistible student. I find Roscoe's fears frustrating even as I root for Shawn's persistence to win his hunk. Maybe the ending could be more emotional but Mykles' writing style carries the story through seamlessly.
JP Bowie's Sometimes Life's a Drag is a nice surprise and one entertaining and fun story. The stars of the story is not the lovers, Patrick, the aspiring singer and his detective hunk, but one drag queen whom we could enjoy hating. This one is more mystery as is the writer's trademark and I never guessed the culprit. Very good indeed.
My favorite is the last story Woman's Weeds as it is truly a transvestite romance. The story may be short but it is so easy to love Kieran's sensual and slutty character as he finds love with David who loves him for who he is. Kieran's cross dressing and transformation are such sexy images. A bit of excitement in the plot but it is the sexy and sweet romance between Kieran and David which I love and I wish this one is an extended novel.

"About Something" by Jet Mykles

Shawn Finnemore is a theater student who finally has a great leading role, Benedict in "Much ado about Nothing".Only there is a change in plans when he is asked to switch roles and do the female lead, Beatrice.Shawn isn't happy about this at first but is convinced to do it.Roscoe Schroeder, a director turned college professor is the man who decided early in rehearsals to switch the people playing the leading roles. It didn't hurt that Shawn is very cute with curly dark hair.Everyone knows that Roscoe is gay, but Shawn is surprised when he starts feeling things, especially passion, towards Roscoe. The play is a hit, but can Roscoe and Shawn find a way to be together when pathways seem to be leading another way?

"About Something" begins with an unusual casting, which leads to Shawn discovering several things about himself.I really enjoyed watching as Shawn ventured into a new world.I understood why Roscoe made the decisions he did, but I was worried that maybe a happy ending was beyond Shawn and Roscoe.I should never have doubted Ms. Mykles, Roscoe and Shawn's ending made me smile.A wonderful beginning to a dramatic anthology.

"Sometime Life's a Drag" by J.P. Bowie

Patrick Farland is auditioning as a singer in the new show at Kenny LaFontaine's nightclub. At this point in his career, getting a spot in this show would be a great boost.Patrick makes the show, but finds that Kenny isn't very nice behind his drag queen persona.Ian Bannister is a detective who gets Kenny's case when he is threatened.Ian has no intention of taking Kenny up on his advances, but he is more than ready to get personal with Patrick. Vindictiveness and danger take Ian and Patrick through an up and down courtship. When an arrest is finally made, will Ian and Patrick be able to keep it together and most importantly will all the parties involved get what is coming to them?

Not all drag queens are created equal and in "Sometime Life's a Drag" it is obvious.Patrick and Ian have an instant attraction much to the dismay of the nightclub owner. As much as I enjoyed watching Ian and Patrick coming together and dealing with life, I loved to hate one of the characters just as much.I was so wrong on the whodunit part, which added to the ending of the story, that again, I would not have guessed.Another dramatic story to capture your attention.

"Woman's Weeds" by Kimberly Gardner

David Sullivan is teaching, but his real love is being the director of his own community theater company, Fresh Voices. He started the group with the help of his sister.David is preparing to cast the next play and if that isn't enough, he just met a sexy guy unexpectedly, who is trying out for a part.Kieran Reilly might work at Macy's but he wants to act and he really wants the female part of this play.Reilly knows he can do it and now has to convince David and the rest of the company. It doesn't help matters that Reilly and David want to be a couple, but Reilly has a secret and it might affect how David sees him. When the curtain goes up, will all the players live happily ever after?

"Woman's Weeds" brings two very different people together with the love of theater.Reilly loves to act and has a very unusual lifestyle that has caused him problems before.David is kind of conservative in his teaching but can express himself through the theater group.I had to love it when Reilly decided to take actions into his own hands and talk to anyone that might have influenced David's decisions.I would have never thought that David and Reilly could make it together and I'm certain that is why they work so well together.A fantastic ending to a great anthology.

Bravo! Brava! is a wonderful collection of stories all centering on the dramatic world of entertainment. Not only did the stories take you from the beginning to the established but also from the world of the well known to the community groups.Anyone who loves the male/male world should put Bravo! Brava! on their must have list. All I can say is bravo to the writers and hope that somewhere down the road there will be an encore.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bravo! Brava! by Jet Mykles, J.P. Bowie & Kimberly Gardner
The common theme of this anthology are men in drags, for different reason and at different level.

About Something by Jet Mykles: Shawn is a cute college guy, maybe even too cute. He is an actor and he has always played in men roles, but now Roscoe, young director and college teacher, wants for him to play a female role. Why on earth he has that idea Shawn doesn't know, all right Shawn is a pretty man, but he is ALL man, he has plenty of ex girlfriend to prove it. Anyway, Roscoe is very good in prospecting to Shawn a big success if he does as he says, and Shawn agrees. On while on stage he dresses as a woman and speaks the words of a woman, his perception of Roscoe is changing: he starts to see the man in a different way than before, he is no more the cool young director who can give to Shawn the chance of his life, he is now a very handsome man that Shawn would like to know better. And so Shawn starts to "bring" home his role, he starts to dress as a woman even outside the theatre and every time is good to tease Roscoe. And Roscoe is easily teased, but he tries to resist, since even if Shawn is not so younger than him for age, he is new to the whole gay life scene, and Roscoe instead knows that he is ready for commitment.

Jet Mykles' story is light and enjoyable, there is not the usual angst of a college affair between a student and a teacher, Roscoe is not so worried to overstep his role, the real big problem for him seems to be that he doesn't want to awaken Shawn's desire for gay sex and then be dumped by the young imp. Shawn is a bit of a teaser, he is set to conquer his teacher and he really doesn't think on the future or on what it will happen if he manages to: he is focused on the moment and on the pleasure he can have; it's quite a typical behavior of a man so young.

Sometimes, Life's a Drag by J.P. Bowie: Patrick is a young singer who audictions for a role in a drag show. The one man show is Kenny, a forty something drag queen who is all you can expect from a drag queen who passed his prime age: bitch and jeloaus, always searching for reassurance that he is still the only real queen. And when Patrick not only unveal to be a lot better singer than him, but also steals the interest of Ian, a police detective Kenny was set out to conquer, the queen becomes a real bitch. There is also a murder to resolve, but it's not so interesting as to read the bickering between Kenny and Patrick. Patrick will be obviously the winner, but I have to say that I really like Kenny: Patrick and Ian are a good couple, they are right together, but who has really the more interesting role is Kenny. And I really like that, in the end, the author will give also to him a piece of cake.

This is probably one of the best short story I read by J.P. Bowie. It's not so romantic as other stories I read by him, but the small world of a show business made more of sweat than glitters, is skillfully rendered; it reminds me one of my favorite movie, Chorus Line, and all the characters, even the minor ones, were so fascinating... I was so waiting to see what would happen between Laurence and Albert.

Women's Weeds by Kimberly Gardner: David is a young director who is searching the right actor for a Olivia / Cesario in Twelfth Night, and when Kieran, the young and very pretty man he met the day before, auctions for the role, David knows that he will be perfect. Problem is that Kieran not only like to dress as a woman on stage, he likes to do that also in his everyday life; Kieran is like that, one day he awakens and he feels a man, the other day he feels like a woman, and he dresses up to his feelings. Kieran really likes David, but David has to accept him like he is, since Kieran can't change.

I like this little story, even if for sure Kieran is a lot more of a character than David. David is a nice background role, he plays well along Kieran, but it's Kieran that holds all the story. Kieran is young but I believe he has already clear who he is and what he wants in life. And he is not all over David in a desperate way: yes, he would like for David to be the one, but I believe that, if something would happen against his story, Kieran would have the strenght to close this chapter of his life and open another one.

All three stories are of very high quality, probably all of them would live without problem as independent story, but put them together, and you have a really nice anthology. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Very romantic stories, and I liked all of them
Warning: This review might contain what some people consider SPOILERS.

"Key to Me" by Jet Mykles - 9/10
PROS:
- This story is mushy and unbelievable but deliciously romantic. Scene after scene after scene had me thinking, "aww..."
- The plot/mystery isn't really very mysterious (at least, I figured it out very early on in the story, which I'm sure would be the case with most readers), but I still loved it. NOAH doesn't figure it out, of course, so there are some cute scenes when he's adorably clueless about the identity of his secret admirer.
- I found the sex scenes to be both super sweet and super hot.
CON:
- When the identity of the secret admirer is finally revealed, Noah is very excited about who it is. But he hasn't had a single wistful thought about this guy earlier in the story: no "he was hot, too bad Noah couldn't have him" comments anywhere. So the speed with which Noah proclaims love for the guy felt a LITTLE rushed to me.

"The Gift of Eros" by Kimberly Gardner - 8/10
PROS:
- The story has a bit of a mythological element to it that I found cute and interesting. The element of mystery is maybe a little anemic, but the story doesn't take itself too seriously, so I really didn't mind much.
- Some of the sex scenes (later on, when the characters know more than just each other's first names) are pretty hot: very lightly D/s but heavy on borderline exhibitionism and public places.
CONS:
- The sex starts right away, which I'm not a huge fan of. That first scene is hot and passionate and all that (for the characters, anyway), but it's also rather on the impersonal side.
- The ending is a little rushed/sudden for me. Val makes a pretty huge decision after not a whole lot of thought.

"Roughly Tied Together" and "Rough Ride" by Laura Baumbach - 8/10
PROS:
- Each of these stories is basically nothing but a single sex scene (with a bit of emotional build-up), and they're slow and romantic and very loving.
- Neither the excerpt nor the story is very long, but they were long enough to convince me that I liked the characters enough to want to read their novel-length stories. Bram is confident yet gentle with James, and James is shy and tentative and lovely.
CONS:
- I wasn't LOST per se having not read the novels about these characters, but I was a little disoriented a time or two as to the men's backgrounds and their history together. "Roughly Tied Together," since it's an excerpt from one of the novels, is particularly thin on context (as is to be expected, I know).
- Both stories contain numerous mistakes and typos that seemed to me more careless than ignorant (that is, they're not tricky misspellings or anything; they're just things that weren't read over closely enough). Baumbach also doesn't shy away from exclamation points, which I don't have a problem with when they're used in dialogue, but I think they make regular old sentences in the exposition sound silly: "It was exhilarating unlike anything else!"

"One Good Favor" by J.L. Langley and Dick D. - 8/10
PROS:
- Again, this is a story with an unusual and intriguing plot element. There are hints about the solution to the mystery all over the place, but they didn't bother me at all because the plot is definitely secondary to the romance.
- The authors do a good job of depicting a believable western world that's still fairytaleish and at times, really funny: the main character is a rodeo cowboy, and he faces his share of sobering, realistic homophobic characters. But there's also a scene in a gay honky tonk where he goes into the back room with a guy and notices pegs on the wall for all the cowboys who are getting busy to hang their hats on.
CONS:
- The ending is rushed: there's a short little climactic scene with the baddies, and once they leave, we get a page and a half of resolution and then 2 pages of epilogue that that contain little more than hurried sentences to the effect of "here's how this worked out" and "here's how they explained that away."
- The story's not very long, and there are multiple instances of needless repetition. There are even a couple of lines of dialogue that the characters repeat almost verbatim in different places in the story.

Overall comments: I think this is one of the best anthology purchases I've ever made: I liked every one of the stories, and usually there's at least one that's only so-so for me. All 5 of the stories here have fairly graphic sex and are supremely romantic. A couple of them also have rather interesting plots, especially for how short they are. If you're looking for stories light on angst and heavy on sweetness, I definitely recommend this one.

2-0 out of 5 stars 2 stars
I was reluctant to get this book at first because BDSM isn't my thing, but eventually decided, what the hell? The sex scenes aren't all too intense and none off-putting, so if someone really is interested in some hard core BDSM scenes they'll feel cheated.

The stories were all sweet in parts, hot in others, daunting in most. For some entertaining smut it's a win, but I was hoping to see some more original characters. Some of the stories were, maybe not original, but different and so they have my kudos. I only wish the authors would have done more with them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Compilation of Short Stories
The Ties That Bind is a compilation of short stories by different authors. The stories are fantastic, just be forwarned, if you have already read Laura Baumbach's "A Bit of Rough" then you will recongnize one of the stories (ROUGHLY TIED TOGETHER)from the Italian Restaurant. The rest of the stories are great. The first one (KEY TO ME) is about a guy getting gifts from a secret lover it was beautiful and exciting. The next story (GIFT OF EROS) is about a divine encounter this one is my favorite. Then you have a great little story (ROUGH RIDE) reintroducing you too Bram Lord and James Justin from "A Bit of Rough" and "Roughhousing" I was really glad to get back to them to see that their relationship is still thriving LOL. Finally(ONE GOOD FAVOR)is one good story with Native American magic. This compilation put together the Greatest Authors of M/M Romance and did a fantastic job. I would love to read a full story in which they all collaborate.

4-0 out of 5 stars A worthwhile anthology
The title and cover of this anthology from the relatively new MLR Press implies a little bondage, but that's misleading. The theme is what ties lovers together, be it restraints, need or simple love. There are five stories, though one is actually an excerpt from the popular book "A Bit of Rough" by Laura Baumbach.I don't like excerpts included in story collections, but the novel did start out as a story before Laura expanded it and people new to her writing will appreciate a "taste."I usually don't buy anthologies as I don't want a good story to end, but this is a very good collection.I picked it up mainly because I love JL Langley's work and was looking for something to tide me over until her next book.I never imagined I would like one of the other stories more.

"Key to Me" by Jet Mykles is by far my favorite in the collection. The story is seductive, and sexy with a teasing plot that drew me in.Noah is somewhat of a player, bouncing from one lover to the next never finding someone he wanted to stay with - until he starts receiving gifts from a secret admirer. He's intrigued, and becomes obsessed with discovering the giver. The secret admirer finally arranges for them to meet, only Noah must be blindfolded and very lightly bound the entire time. The sex is hot as Noah flirts with a little danger and the possibility of love.Though I guessed the secret lover almost immediately, it didn't dim the suspense as Noah is wooed by the unknown man.The ending was heartwarming, tender and more than a little steamy! I will look for more by Mykles.

"Roughly Tied Together" by Laura Baumbach is the excerpt. I'd recommend newcomers just skip this and go straight for the novel - much more satisfying!

"Gift of Eros" by Kimberly Gardner was enjoyable, but the ending felt unfinished.Val is a college grad student who has a hot one-night stand (or so he thought) with the new transfer student, Dylan.Only Dylan is much more than he seems.Val finds himself with a choice - the promise of falling in love and it being returned, or taking a greater risk.Dylan and Val are a great couple, and they have piping hot sex, but I felt their story was rushed at the end.Good, but a few more pages would have made it excellent.

"Rough Ride" by Laura Baumbach was released previously as an e-book stand alone short story. It features the men from "A Bit of Rough" having some fun in the snow, before heading back for some fun by the fireplace.James and Bram are a wonderful couple, and Laura excels at writing sensuous lovemaking with a "bit of rough"!Readers need not have read the novel and its sequel, but they do make the story better as readers know the men's history together.

"One Good Favor" - by JL Langley and Dick D was a surprising and wonderful submission.Langley has an entire paranormal series about werewolves, but I didn't expect this tale to fall in that genre. It was a clever, fun story about a rodeo rider looking for a new horse and finds more than he bargained for!I really enjoyed it, and wouldn't mind reading another story about Aaron's brother Adam.

Overall, this is a solid collection with a couple of real gems.Highly recommended!

3-0 out of 5 stars It was o.k.
This is a collection of stories by authors I am slowly coming to appreciated. Some were better than others - I expected alot from Jet Mykles only to be dissapointed.Laura Baumbach delivers in a big way with a dominating but playful lover.Everything else was easily forgettable. My recommendation is to buy this used! ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Fair Read - Could have been better
The book started off good, but seemed to drag and I was a bit annoyed with the tests the heroine gave the hero and the constant travel.I am a fan of Sandra Field books, but this one took me several! days to finish where I could usually complete in one or two days.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Different View
I've been a subscriber to Harlequin Presents for many years, and thought this book was like a "breath of fresh air", breaking the mold. The book is written in the majority of the hero's view and the reader has insight on his fears, emotions and his development of his love affair with the heroine. He is still an "alpha hero"- but without the ruthlessness and insensitiveness of other series. Thanks Ms. Fields, looking forward to your other books.

4-0 out of 5 stars not perfect but very good : )
Slade wasn`t my type of hero (he`s not the alpha male) and Clea wasn`t my type of heroine (she`s ultra redhead heroine)...very readable + ...they travel a lot of places (not together)

3-0 out of 5 stars 3.5 stars(slipt in the middle)
I like it BUT the i'll meet you here inParis 3 weeks and there in another 3 wasn't really working for me and when they met it was kinda a date but it really wasn't a date it was more like her trying to push him away and doing these test to see if he turly like her...
The heroine i understand her but i really didn't get her, the hero the typical harlequin present hero (mean that in a good way) his character was ok..
I understand where the author was trying go with this and wanting to try something new but not sure if it worked for me.....Maybe you can buy the book and think different about it..

on the my review meter it's between ok/fair

"The Jet-Set Seduction" is told mainly from the point-of-view of the hero, Slade, which is unusual. I really loved this book, Clea and Slade had dates in different parts of the world. Although Clea is attracted to Slade, she's afraid to allow him to get close to her because of her past, so she makes him meets her in different countries to prove he's really interested in her. This book is very emotionally charged, the plot was unique, and it is certainly not boring. Both Slade and Clea has issues that they have to overcome in order to come together.

"The Jet-Set Seduction" was really a special book, and you won't be disappointed if you read it. Enjoy it, I did. ... Read more

This concise book is intended to fulfill two purposes: to provide an important supplement to classic texts by carrying fluid dynamics students on into the realm of free boundary flows; and to demonstrate the art of mathematical modeling based on knowledge, intuition, and observation. In the authors words, the overall goal is make the complex simple, without losing the essence--the virtue--of the complexity.
Modeling Axisymmetric Flows: Dynamics of Films, Jets, and Drops is the first book to cover the topics of axisymmetric laminar flows; free-boundary flows; and dynamics of drops, jets, and films. The text also features comparisons of models to experiments, and it includes a large selection of problems at the end of each chapter.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent textbook for novices and experts
This book is both extremely clear and quite detailed. Its the kind of book you can use as a novice to the field to see the examples and approach to modelling, or that you can use as a reference book if modelling fluid flow is your thing.

Most modelling fluid flow textbooks start wity infinite resevior, not small scale drops and flows covered here. Well written, well structure, technically excellent. ... Read more

Both Jet-engine propelled aircraft and long-range rockets were first successfully flown during World War II. This led 10 rapid post-war improvements in both, and within two decades we had supersonic airplanes, communication satellites, and trips to the moon. Unmanned probes to Mars and the outer planets followed, as well as the International Space Station. The technology behind these advances is described, along with short biographies of key pioneers. 5-0 out of 5 stars CURSES AND MORE
Shifting Sands
Shifting Sands is a well-written romantic comedy, comprised of six stories featuring each of the Texas ranch's residents. The superb plot showcases the perils of the cowboys who are on a quest to claim a mate. The owner's Chinese wife takes one of the cowboys and leaves behind a curse that dooms the remaining populace to a life of shifting. Every month when the moon is full, each man takes on the form of an animal.

All of the characters share more than shifting. They are all compassionate gay men who desire a permanent relationship. They share a bond that is more like family than co-workers. The six magnificent authors have produced a marvelous book, filled with hilarious conversations, emotions along with scorching love scenes. Each story flows into the next giving the reader a sense of continuity. Overall, Shifting Sands is an excellent anthology that I enjoyed to the highest degree.
