5-0 out of 5 stars Redemption-The truth behind the EXTORTION
The author Geraldine Hughes is passionate about sharing the truth with the entire world in her book Redemption.Geraldine is an amazing very talented author who takes you into the world of the accuser's camp and shares the unethical poor morals of Evan Chandler and his attorney Barry Rothman. This book tells the story and the truth about Michael Jackson's child molestation allegations like no other author can.THIS IS A MUST READ for anybody looking to understand the truth about Michael Jackson. The media has done a great injustice of deflamating Michael Jackson's character to the world.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must read for anyone who wants the truth!
This book is a must read whether or not you love MJ or hate him.It will tell you the facts and truth about the 1993 allegations. It is written by the woman who worked in Barry Rothman's office, Jordan Chandler's attorney, during that time. She witnessed it all.She tried to go to the police and media at the time but they were not interested. She felt compelled to write this book and do the right thing. She describes herself as being the "Ram in the bush" for Michael from God.Excellently written. The author is honest and forthright about herself.A little bit of technical legal terms but very very good. Love you Michael...Theresa Gallagher

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally A Book Not Trying to Profit off the Back of Michael Jackson
A great book about the first set of ridiculous allegations. More people need to read this book as well as Aphrodite Jone's book Michael Jackson Conspiracy. It doesn't take much research to realize Michael Jackson was totally innocent. It's a tragedy that two grifter families used their children to extort (and ultimately kill) the greatest entertainer who ever lived. Hopefully one day, the world will know the truth. It's a shame there's so few books and so little media coverage about the truth.

5-0 out of 5 stars Eye Opening and Compelling!
This book was a quick read and made me more aware of what went on in the 1993 Child Molestation Allegations against Michael Jackson. When Michael settled this case back in the early 1990's it made a lot of people pause and wonder.I wasn't one of those people.I always knew that something wasn't right about all this.I can still remember Michael on television back then proclaiming his innocense, and you can still view this out on [...].It's heart breaking to watch to this day. This book only cements his innocense by a person who had a front row seat to all this. The only thing that bothers me is that this lawyer that she worked for is still practicing, when to me he seemed as shady as Evan Chandler.GREAT BOOK! THANKS TO THE WRITER FOR STEPPING FORWARD WITH THIS TRUTH! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Michael Jackson book for piano to date
This book contains a large variety of songs ranging from the earliest songs of the Jackson 5 in the early 70s to more modern songs like You Rock my World and Dangerous from the 90s/early 2000s, which was when Jackson was in the prime of his career. I feel the book contains appropriate songs, most of his number one hits are included, as well as most of the songs in the Thriller albulm. From what I hear, a few songs that were essential from Michael like Earth Song or Never Say Goodbye were not included, but seeing as this book is based strictly on the 2005 CD of the same name, this is forgivable. Most songs are great but a few don't translate the best to keyboard, but like every book, there are always those few songs that make the entire book worth buying and the less desirable songs forgivable. As for difficulty, this book is not for beginner or early intermmediate players. There are a lot of sharps and flats in many of the songs, which are in the original key Jackson sang them in. They aren't really advanced either like Joplin or Gershwin, but they are on the more difficult side of moderate. One last comment is some of these songs for the piano part include a counter melody to the vocal part rather than go along with the melody, so for those songs you need to play off the top melody and add extra inversions to the notes to add more emphasis if you want to play the main melody, however, most of the songs' piano parts do go along with the main melody exactly note for note, but Bad and Thriller are some that don't. Overall, this book is pretty great and offers lyrics and chords, as well as great melodies and counter melodies for the vocals on piano. If you are a fan of Jackson and play piano, this book is a must have. If you like a few of Jackson's songs and are a pop fan, I still guaruntee you will like this book. It just has a really great variety and his best songs are all in here.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great songs, great arrangements
I had the Thriller piano/vocal/chord book already but decided to get this because it also included a few Jackson 5 tunes in addition to songs from Off the Wall, Bad, Dangerous, History, and Invincible. Some songs from the Thriller book have better arrangements in this edition but not all Thriller songs are present. I was impressed that the songs are in their original keys and in several cases the arrangement from the recording is provided with harmonies. Some songs transfer to piano better than others but that's typical of any pop material. I read through almost the entire book the first day I had it and had a blast. Uh-hee-hee! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Thank You Adrian Grant!
Up until the time I read this book I was pretty certain that all volumes written about Michael Jackson would be rife with constant speculation and gossip surrounding his personal behavior. Adrian Grant saught to change this. In the introductory forward to this volume he writes his manifesto how he intends for this book only to focus on Michael's general accomplishments and his musical triumphs. The book is filled with tons of great color and black & white photos for sure but is also highly detailed in terms of his musical history. It traces Michael from his birth in Gary Indiana to the events of the late 90's. Even though his musical history is all too open a book this album has a lot of information people might not be aware of,particularly about how the press received him as a musical entity at various points in his career as well as including snippets of the rare interviews Michael gave over the years. I read this during the time I was getting very heavily into his music and this magazine really helped me in learning about some all too forgotton and career defining albums with his brothers, including somewhat neglected chestnuts such as Get It Together and Goin' Places. Also covered here are chart statistics and important tour information regarding the concerts with his brothers and later solo. A good portion of this book covers all the fuss involving the 1984 Victory Tour,an event which almost deserves it's own book all together. The situation got so mixed up Michael decided to nonate all tour profits to charity and his decision to give an 11 year old girl VIP treatment to one of the concerts due to a corrupt promotional system that led her to writing him and his promoters as being "just out for money". A lot of elements of his character come out in these facts that illustrate a different side of him than his common public persona seemed to have revealed. We see a man who was deeply concerned about his public image at one point and wanting to give his all to the people who loved and cared about his music most. There are also some interesting notes regarding how different received Michael was over time as even Rolling Stone magazine very harshly denounced his 1987 album Bad,even going as far as stating it as "the years most unwelcome comeback". Until reading this book I never realized how Michael, even at his hugest point in popularity and acclaim was still given some rather harsh slips such as this. For people searching for a comprehensive and entertaining book regarding Michael Jackson's fabulous rise to superstardom as a musical icon than this is very much the book for you!
