Loved the book and CD. My grandkids want to hear it over and over again.

My Grandson loved it!
I sent this wonderful book to my grandson, Elijah, in Tennessee. He is 5 and learning to read. My daughter-in-law states "he hasn't put it down, we kept re-reading it, and he now knows it by heart". They also loved the CD. Thankyou!

Party Animals
This was a really fun book for my five year granddaughter.She had me play the CD and look at the book over and over. We loved the different voices.

Great baby gift
This is the 5th Party Animals book I have purchased.The illustrations are magnificent.The moral of the story is great.What I love even better is the CD included with the book.What a great narration.The swing song is what kids will love.I will be giving this book to all my friends that are having babies.It is a gift that will keep on giving.I wish this book was around 35 years ago when my kids were little.

Kathie Lee Gifford's book
I love Kathie Lee...........she is hilarious and it comes out in this book!I even read portions to my husband that I thought he would get a kick out of!It thoroughly kept me entertained the whole time I read the book! Definitely worth the read!!

BOOK
I have never really cared for Kathie Lee Gifford, but I had heard that this book was funny.
It was NOT what I expected at all... not that funny and again, Kathie Lee's EGO came shining through.

A wonderful, light-hearted book
Kathie Lee Gifford's latest book is a charming read, perfect for summer nights out on the patio. She's had some wonderful experiences, yet she also has had her share of trials and tribulations as well. I have always thought she was so persecuted in the press because she was, and is, a happy person. So many of her critics cannot understand her inner happiness and vilify her for it. FORGETABUTIT, Kathie Lee, and just keep writing these uplifting memoirs! I especially like the one about her son turning 15 and communicating solely in grunts, as I am going through that right now! It made me feel like I am not alone!

inspiring...
This is the companion to the CD Gentle Grace and it is a nice devotional book to use either while listening to the CD or alone. It speaks volumes...Kathie Lee is truly an inspiration with the way she channels her talent into helping others. Her proceeds for this project and the CD go to help children's charities and that is admirable.

I love my copy of both the CD and the book and highly recommend them both.

As usual, this is a bit of a self serving book about Kathie Lee and her trials and tribulations. I do like Christian books that are hopeful and believe in the Lord, but this is sort of desperate KL stuff because basically she has no career to speak of. It's about frank's cheating, her two darling children, and her troubles in life. But it get monotonous and really isn't uplifting or optimistic, rather sort of self pitying in my opinion.

A precious book from a tremendous talent...
Kathie Lee's "Gentle Grace" is a beautiful work of inspiration and hope...it is a companion to her fabulous CD by the same name. They go hand-in-hand to share with others the tremendous faith Mrs. Gifford has. Both of these items are truly a blessing.

Kathie Lee has always been a talented, special celebrity but first and foremost she is a woman dedicated to the Lord, to her faith, family and friends. She's a super role model for all of us.

KLG is my idol
SO tired of people ripping Kathie Lee. This is a woman who fought to get where she is and she deserves everything that has happened to her. I hope her faith and her charity keep her in good spirits. KLG knows that only our most holy and all-forgiving God can judge her. The immature writings of deluded misanthropes really burns me. I abhor them for their insolence. They've destined themselves to a life of suffering because of their negative reviews her on Amazon. God will never forgive them.

There's an original gem hidden here
Most of the stories are trite, except for the highly imaginative and quick-witted "The Day Before the Night Before Christmas."It's worth the price to have this special soon-to-be classic in your children'slibrary.Author James Shock captures the spirit of the season with humorand warmth.A must read for children of all ages.

heartwarming
Kathie Lee seems to be a very involved mother. She is not afraid to discuss Cody's bowel functions in detail. Everything about Cody is cute. Every detail. A must have book!

One of the better autobiographies.
This is one of the better autobiographies to read in my opinion.Kathie Lee may be sugary sweet, but she doesn't sugar coat it in her book.

I find her interesting, because I think there are and have been many women that tried to have a career and fame that she has had.Yet when she was told at an early age that she couldn't sing, she took on the "Oh yeah? I'll show you." attitude.

In all honesty she is a good example of why trying until you succeed works.She has it all and even after bad press she still has it all.

She goes into detail about growing up with parents that didn't tolerate bad manners, a non-appreciation of family and God, and still fell head over heels for a surfer named Yancy.She saw the false side of show business before entering it herself.She married young, and then went on to have a few relationships before the "Giff" that showed her what the difference between being a trophy and a treasure.Of course would the book be the same if she didn't share stories about Regis, Cody and Cassidy?

Great book to read at the beach or by the pool.If you don't come away wanting to do something more with your life then you didn't read the whole thing.

Strangly Appealing Bio
As a liberal feminist living is San Francisco, I have few venues to sharemy appreciation for Kathie Lee Gifford. Although I suspect most of her fansare wholesome, All American Christians living in the Midwest and the South,I too find her sugary, self-absorbed persona irresistable. Why? While somany of today's celebrities have images that seem somehow manufactured,Kathie Lee breaks down the fourth wall, on her show and in this book,bysharing all her intimate secrets, some of them embarassingly tame. Perhapsmore than any other tv personality, she is a reflection of a time that isfading from modern life: a 50s childhood of church on Sunday and summers atthe beach, with parents that threatened to disown her if she slept with herboyfriend prior to marriage. I had been wanting this cookbook for a long time but never got around toordering it.(I know - excuses, excuses!)Normally, I like to order bymail (like Amazon), but not too ago, I walked into a major bookstore chainin Houston where they had some copies on sale.I thumbed through it andsaw many enticing recipes at first glance - not just one!Like AuntPittypat's Pecan Poundcake - you can't go wrong with this one!Buy thebook and see the surprise ingredients!Anyhow, because of a silly habit Ihave, I always reach down and get from the middle bottom.When I opened upthe book, there in the front cover was Regis Phlbin's personal signature. DREADFUL
How could anyone write a "I Hate" book; what kind of human beings are we?

I have not read this book , but I skimmed through it at a bookstore to see the contents. It's just pure garbage and belongs in the trashcan. If you don't like someone, keep quiet about it and don't try to exploit them and make money off their personal lives.
