Ayala's Angel
I love Anthony Trollope's stories. When I ordered Ayala's Angel I thought I was buying the standard size paperback. This edition is larger (7x9") which is less practical to carry around and the printing is of poor quality, smudged and sometimes hard to read. I'm going to stay away from this type of paperback. But the story itself is a great portrait of an idealist, a dreamer in situations unlike any one could find oneself at present. But then, Trollope is a wonderful escape into a world of romance, harsh reality and limited possibilities for women. And you can't beat the good ending.

Light Trollope
Ayala's Angel is much lighter and more lyric thanmany of Trollope's novels.Ayala is a dreamer, and Trollope wants us to respect her for that.The pace and the humor are typical Trollope.Ienjoyed it very much, though it's hardly his most profound commentary. ... Read more

Didn't go far enough.
I started watching GH in 2007 and this book was recommended to get background on the show. But because the book was published in 1990's,the information was published a decade too early for me to enjoy. I was looking for background published much later since many of the books characters are no longer on the show and many of todays GH characters are not mentioned in the book.

General Hospital watcher in my youth
First off im 40 years old this year. that said in the 1980's i grew up watching General Hospital. You see back then in the early 1980's we had no cable. So when i got home from school my mother would be watch abc daytime soaps. So in effect we were forced to watch General hospital. Man i got hooked even as a 10 year old on out. the Luke and laura, Quartermaines, Frisco and felicia, Robert Scorpio and Anna Devane. Let's not forget Duke.from 2000 on the soap like others went down hill. I ordered the General Hospitial Scrapbook and hoping sometime in the near furture some classic Dvds of General Hospital is made.

It came very fast and the quality is very good, would buy from this seller again if they anything that I want.I really like this book but I wish they had an updated version because this one stopped in 1994.If you are a GH fan you will love this book.Thanks

old school GH Fan from the 70`s & 80`s
i loved watching GH as a young child til my college years.
so im a big fan of the older characters.
my question is,
are there any pictures of "Scorpio & Holly"?
thats that love team i was a loyal too...
i love everyone else but i just loved them so much back when i was a child....
please advise so i know if i should also purchase this item, thank you...
