Not worth the money
I purchased this book hoping to get more in depth explanations to the answers to the problems in the main text book, but in the end get very little from it. For some, like me, calculus is a difficult subject and any extra help can go a long ways. This student solutions manual only includes answers to EVER OTHER ODD problem. Not every odd, not every other, only every other odd (i.e. 1, 5, 9, etc.) I find the "hard" problems in the main text are frequently NOT the ones the solutions manual shows. The few problems from each section that are actually covered do show most of the intermediate steps between the original problem and the final solution in the scope of the section/chapter. Also, there is no explanation on what is being done in each step; the solution from each major step is shown with no information about how that step (or solution) was achieved. In the end the price simply is not worth paying for only a very small subset of solutions.

Don't Bother
This manual has very few questions worked out.I find it much more helpful to my learning to check my answers in the back of the textbook and work them out again if they are wrong.Don't bother to buy this.

worst solutions manual i have ever "used". actually i could not even use this because every problem i was assigned in the class was not covered in this book. i am a parent and full time worker as well as full time student and i have limited time to get lab/teacher assistance and look to solution manuals to help clear any confusion i have on certain problems and this did not do that.

if you can find instructors annotated edition, i recommend it.

Little depth, even for applied text
I realize this textbook focuses on applications of calculus, but many of the examples provide little insight in to the actual calculus going on.Explanations are often vague and easy to comprehend, and the text will not provide sufficient background to solve most section problems.

The examples are unhelpful and often incomplete, and vague at best.Buy a supplementary text if your professor requires this.

Get Help Elsewhere
This solutions manual is pretty much a waste of money (just like the textbook this is used for). For some reason, it answers every OTHER odd number. Basically answering problems 1, 5, 9, and so on. Other times, it actually skips some of those numbers!

The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is the fact that the problems the solution's manual does answer actually did help a little. Unfortunaly, it can be wrong once in a while, as my teacher can contest.

Don't waste your money on this unless you can find it for at most, a third of the price. Even then, the frustration probably still isn't worth it.

Calculus: Student Confusion Manual
This "solutions manual" only offers answers for every fourth question.The most painful part is that the so-called solutions are merely the answers from the back of the text book put into complete sentences; there is NO additional instruction.

A life changing read...
Suckers was my introduction to the whacky world of J.A. Konrath and the awesomeness that is Jeff Strand. I enjoyed all of it!

I have a new addiction and that is spending my change on these authors' books, I'm sure they won't be signing any petitions to send me to rehab anytime soon. I doubt I could give this book an objective review, you either love the humour and sickness or you don't. I loved it, so go on, click the buy button. Do it now!

Waiting for Strand and Konrath to do a follow up to this one!
Konrath and Strand HAVE to do another book combining these characters again!You have to read this book, it is AWESOME. Great story, and the best parts the dry humor talents of Jeff Strand and JA Konrath (two of my favorites).Also, if you haven't read their other books, do so as fast as you can, they are all GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!If you love gore, sick humor and fantastic characters, these are the authors for you. Get the Jack Daniels series of books by Konrath and the Andrew Mayhem series from Strand, THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never laughed so hard
Warning this book is not for everyone, it is full of crude humor that some will find offensive. Harry is the best character I have ever read. Andrew is good too, but Harry is one of a kind. If you have read any of the Jack Daniels series and like Harry you have to read this book. I never have laughed so hard as I did at the crazy things that these two great authors have come up with. I hope that Andrew and Harry cross paths again at some point because they truely make a great team. So spend a couple bucks and download this and reccomend it to all your friends who have a sense of humor, and all the people you dislike who are easily offended.

One of the most beautiful books you can own...
I stumbled upon this book in New York a few years back and was immediately stunned by its beauty and quality.The Gilman Paper Company apparently started their collection well before the current photography craze and amassed one of the most outstanding collections that you can imagine.Most of these photos are from the very earliest days of the medium and many are in the sepia tone that I personally love.The quality of reproduction is so good that you can actually frame some of the photos!It's astounding...well worth obtaining for any art book collector.

A Gorgeous Catalogue
I purchased this book in conjunction with The Metropolitan Museum exhibit of the same name. I spent hours in the exhibit, and I spent hours pouring over the lush, and beautifully reproduced images in this book. I've always been fascinated with the photographic process, and this book explores it down to the roots. I've walked away amazed that someone figured out how to look at something, and through a chemical process tranfer ones vision onto paper.
