This is an easy to reference book for interns on how to manage basic floor issues.There is also a PDA version for upload.Highly recommended.

the only downside is that this book doesnt have as much medication referencing in relation to the disease.

Good book
I read this book first time when I was in Baghdad. It was kind of heavy book because it was a photocopied book. When I came to the State always remember the W. manual, it is very easy to read and a good help to manage the inpatients. For sure you need the textbooks for some subjects, but again the manual is of a good help always. I love this edition it is light and very easy to read.

This book was excellent for use during a one month consult rotation.It gave the basics, told you how to work up common consults, and explained some of the differentials.It summarized the topics well, but was not an in depth review. I am moving to the Washington D.C./Virginia area and needed to find basic data about some non-public schools...student/teacher ratios, before and after school care, financial aid etc.Theis book was able to offer the infoI needed to help me narrow my search down considerably.

Not the guide you want...
Potential buyers should know that this "guide" is essentially little more than a list.About each school or day care, it contains address, tuition, and 3-5 more lines of information.

I went looking for such a guide because I was dissatisfied with the Independent School Guidefor Washington, DC and Surrounding Area (I have 10th edition), which hasabout a half page per institution, plus sections on how to choose,consultants, other information. While neither has any sort ofranking or comparative information (what I was after), the IndependentSchool Guide is much more informative and detailed than the WashingtonSchool and Daycare Guide. ...
