ESL Exam Secrets
This guide has a lot of test-taking tips that I had never thought of before. The ESL Instruction and Assessment sections are very thorough and informative. If you're a first time teacher, the bonus material "teaching secrets" are helpful.

This book deserves less than a 1 star
I have only made it to page 37 and I have found at least 5 sections that should have been edited. There are phrases that make no sense, and misplaced words (very instead of vary, if instead of is, etc.). The writing is horrendous and it does not follow along with the competencies well.If you have never studied for the ESL Supplemental it might help, but be warned, the errors make it hard to read.I would recommend to friends that they don't ever buy this book.Look in the TExES preparation manual because it lists useful study books in the last few pages. ... Not very helpful
I used these to prepare for the Art EC-12 exam. While they did cover a lot of information, it was not the information I needed to know for the test. I felt better prepared from reading old Art History textbooks than from these flashcards.

Most important for me was that the flashcards were not labeled by competency and not all compentencies were covered. This wasted my valuable time to try to make sure I covered all areas in my studies. In particular Jewelry, Fibers, Photography, Ceramics and TEKS coverage was little to non-exsistant. You are better off buying used books at a college bookstore and researching information on the internet as I did.
