Product Description
This collection of readings gives students exposure to a wide variety of perspectives in the field of social psychology. Each of the fifteen chapters begins with an introduction and is followed by three articles: one general (“popular”), one classic, and one contemporary. The articles are followed by critical questions designed to facilitate comprehension and encourage discussion.   Topic integration questions conclude each chapter. The use of both popular readings and research articles provides students with a broad range of views and theories within the discipline of social psychology. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Reference Material
I have a Master's in Behavioral Science that encompasses Social Psy, Behavioral Psy, and Counseling Psy ...my undergrad Social Psy professor used this book as a teaching supplement. I didn't realize the value of it until I was well underway with graduate courses that required research papers.

The advantage this book presents is that it provides the student and professor a single source from which to refer rather than obtaining all the articles individually. It is a great teaching tool because it does contain several classic studies as well as many contemporary studies covering a broad scope of topics that everyone should know and learn in undergrad social psych, which is what it was designed to do.

Accordingly, these studies can provide the student with a solid foundation from which to build. One may consider this research material outdated; however, it was this very research that provided the groundwork for further research. I still refer to this collection from time to time to reinforce the concepts that it covers and to provide my research with even more support.

Nevertheless, a professor could not go wrong using this book as a supplemental learning tool. Again, the information contained in this book is all valuable and useful. Moreover, a professor can use this to teach students how to read and interpret journal articles and how to extrapolate useful information from them. Remember, the articles contained in the book are all valid, peer reviewed, and published in journals. Thus, the information contained in this book is useful in teaching as well as learning, regardless of the publication date of any particular article.

I would definitely use this book as a supplemental for teaching an undergrad social psych class. In my opinion, if you are teaching with this book and are disappointed, then you must not be a very good teacher or you don't understand its value, or you don't posses the intellect needed to understand the material it contains. I freely admit that at first I didn't even care to understand the articles and at first I found it rather mundane to read through any of them until I read them with a purpose. I didn't even realize the books value until I found myself in grad school. I went back and read and reread many articles and even used a few in my required research writings. Realizing the limitations of each study led me in new directions and gave me ideas about what topics on which I should find additional research.
In short, this book is a valuable reference tool as well as a valuable teaching supplement.

1-0 out of 5 stars This book needs to be banned from the classroom
I have had to teach with this book several times, and it always disappoints. If you are looking for a reader that will: 1. foster interest and discussion 2. get students thinking. This is not the book for you. If, as most readers do, you want a couple classic studies and a whole lot of filler, this is your book.

Editorial Review

Product Description
Over 2 million students have learned psychology from Dennis Coon. Serving as a guide and mentor to students, Coon uses humor and everyday analogies to make abstract concepts concrete, such as "the cerebral cortex looks like a giant, wrinkled walnut." Using a consistent pedagogical structure, the author helps students learn psychology by using the tested principles of Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review. In addition, he helps them to master psychology with a fourth "R," Relate, which requires them to relate their new knowledge to their own experience, helping abstract ideas to become concrete. The book uses a "chunking" principle, asking students to read major sections, then review them, before they go on. As the new title of the book indicates, PSYCHOLOGY: A MODULAR APPROACH TO MIND AND BEHAVIOR (formerly called ESSENTIALS OF PSYCHOLOGY) is now modular, and is the medium-sized text in a three-book set authored by Dennis Coon. By separating the chapters into modules, this edition goes even further in "chunking" content for student mastery. This text covers the basic set of topics but differs by having two chapters on development, a separate chapter on "Gender and Sexuality" (Chapter 15), and a concluding chapter on "Applied Psychology" (Chapter 17). The book is frequently described as "fun" because it presents topics that are of interest and relevance to students, relates it to their lives, and provides many engaging applications that students can use in their own lives. For teachers who want a book that students will read, enjoy, and savor ? Coon's text is the perfect choice. ... Read more

Product Description

The first book to gather firsthand accounts of successful practices, and thinking habits, of sports legends and super-athletes—from across sports including football, baseball, basketball, boxing, golf, car-racing, and swimming—this work holds lessons that can power not only athletic success, but winning in any daily challenges of life or work. The result of years of research, Psychology of Champions offers the very personal words of star athletes who explain how they overcame such obstacles as fear, discouragement, and anxiety, and were able to move on to success. Each story—including from those of baseball great Ted Williams, basketball star Michael Jordan, football's famed Deion Sanders, and dozens more from across sports —is unique. Yet, the authors determine that, when all is said and done, the overriding variables accounting for the greatest success fall into three categories: motivation, confidence, and concentration. Barrell and Ryback spell out the rules for such success after each section in this absorbing book. The result is a book that not only entertains and educates us with firsthand accounts of ever-popular sports heroes, but also instructs athletes, amateur or professional, and arguably anyone with a goal to achieve in work or life.

In-the-moment accounts reveal just what to do in various critical periods of sports competition—from being at bat in baseball, to making an instantaneous decision as a quarterback, firing the winning basket in the dying moments of a game, or launching the winning move in boxing or judo. Barrell and Ryback draw the lessons together in what they term The Focus Edge mindset. That mindset—and this book— says one former Olympian, take greatness and make it accessible to you and me.

4-0 out of 5 stars Bag of Great Ingredients -- But Needs A Chef
This book really is a mixed bag of good ingredients. It has lots of new interviews with true American sports greats talking about their inner thoughts conducted by two degreed psychologists. Lots of first-hand insight and wisdom here. But unfortunately these are not mixed or cooked with much else; resulting not in a fine meal, but rather we are left still with a collection of individual bits and pieces.

It's very surprising that a book on the psychology of champions doesn't mention the work of Abraham Maslow or K. Anders Ericsson, and indeed doesn't cite any other of the considerable scientific body of work in the acquisition of expertise or sports psychology. They state, "Although most sport psychology books from experimental psychology, we have utilized a very different approach called experiential (not experimental) research. This type of research focuses on the actual experiences of human beings as the source of its data and conclusions." OK. But other than a `Focus Edge' catchphrase repeated on and on, the results are pretty thin considering the richness of the ingredients.

The quotations are amazing, really good stuff, but many of them are repeated in different chapters. And sometimes they are different! On page 80 Matt Williams is quoted "Only think about the task at hand. Keep it simple. We tend to overthink. When I am concentrated, things just happen. The speed of the ball appears to slow down." On page 97 it's "Keeping it simple. Thinking only about the task at hand. Things are just happening. Speed of ball appears to slow down." Huh? On page 116 Deion Sanders is quoted, "I want to do what has never been done before. To be creative, to be undone, to show the unseen." But on back on page 20 the quote marks were around "I want to be the best and take things to a new level--to do the undone, to show the unseen, to be creative. I want to do what has never been done before." The repeats and changes are jarring.

So I enjoyed reading the first-hand thoughts, but felt the rest of the `Focus Edge' fill was kinda weak. More science, more background, more history, more insight from the coaches that help create champions -- some or all of these would have been more welcome than the filler 15 pages of `biographical sketches' of the superstars that were already given introductions in the main text. This is not a stand alone book in its subject area, but more a fascinating supplement to other works. It needs more mixing and cooking in other words. I hope you find this review helpful.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Exciting Book That Provides Great Value
This exciting book will have great value for sports fans and for anyone interested in becoming a winner in his or her chosen profession, and in life itself. Because I have followed college and professional sports closely for several decades, I have wondered--many times--how and why superstars separate themselves from the pack. This book provides vital, easy-to-emulate answers. Fortunately, the book draws its findings from primary sources--superlative athletes in a cross-section of sports.

The authors avoid clinical psychological jargon. The writing style is clear, yet compelling.

My prediction: Those who read this book and apply its findings will benefit from Psychology of Champions, whatever their activity might be.

The Complete Communicator: Change Your Communication-change Your Life!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent - A Book for Champions
This is an awesome source of information; not just on what it took for people to become champions but their thought processes and outside influences. From visualization to self-doubt and anxiety this book walks the reader thoughthe important factors in self-improvement and personal growth. It doesn't matter if your an athlete or not.Psychology of Champions provides great insight into becoming a champion, raising a child to be a champion or coaching others to be champions, etc.I'm certainly not referring only to the field of athletics either it could be that you want to be a champion of a cause or an industry; it all works here!

4-0 out of 5 stars psychology book
It is in very good shape, I will buy all my daughters text books from Amazon.

4-0 out of 5 stars Psychology Textbook
This book has many pictures and diagrams to help explain concepts discussed. The text is percise and clear in explination of concepts and lectures, but not too wordy. I feel that it will be a great tool for a college psychology class. The only thing I don't like is that it's in paperback form. This book is large (approx. 10x12 or so) and heavy making it floppy and hard to control if not sitting on a flat surface. But hey, if the price is right, I don't mind such a small inconvience. (I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 strictly because of the paperback issue. The book content gets 5 stars from me.)

This book shows that it is necessary to understand intergenerational trauma and internalized oppression in order to understand Native Americans today. It makes Native American ways of conceptualizing the world available to readers.

This book presents a theoretical discussion of problems and issues encountered in the Native American community from a perspective that accepts Native knowledge as legitimate. Native American cosmology and metaphor are used extensively in order to deal with specific problems such as alcoholism, suicide, family, and community problems. The authors discuss what it means to present material from the perspective of a people who have legitimate ways of knowing and conceptualizing reality and show that it is imperative to understand intergenerational trauma and internalized oppression in order to understand the issues facing Native Americans today. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars It's about time
It's about time someone spent a little time sharing the realities of Inter-generational Trauma and Inter-generational Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. I am of mixed heritage - European and Native American, and I can tell you that trauma is most definitely handed down generation to generation. And it is not just a Native American thing. Any ethnicity that lives but several generations from extreme cultural and societal tragedy can face these issues. Jews and African Americans can be added to this list, and could benefit from this man's approach. Thank you for sharing this work with the world.

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent condition and excellent delivery
This is an easy read text, organized well for quick reference and very helpful in counseling.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ground breaking book on understanding issues related to Native Americans
Excellent book, those written more recently have different agenda, but this book was excellent in terms of creating a way to understand issues specific to Native people and counseling.

5-0 out of 5 stars Insight into Systemic-Abuse Trauma
It's been many years since the first time I read this book, it was, and remains, a very powerful and very relevant analysis of anger turned inward in the Native American community. It is, nevertheless, a work that confronts a very sensitive issue in the United States of America - the impact on current generations of genocidal colonization practices against long-established Native American communities by European colonizers. Do not read this book if you believe the Americas were pristine, unpopulated lands waiting to be "discovered" by Columbus, or Erikson, or any other European. Do read this book if you want to understand why other colonized cultures have turned to violence and dogma to seek revenge for the foreign imposition of arbitrary and intentionally destructive rulerships.

5-0 out of 5 stars An important book for ALL counselors and therapists
This is one of the best books that I have ever read. I see it as basic material for any counselor or therapist. While the focus is on Native Americans, it is relevant for work with clients of all cultures. The discussion of intergenerational trauma and the soul wound is particularly well done.Highly readable and it can change the way you practice. Product Description

Drawing liberally from physics, psychology, aboriginal beliefs, and shamanism, this spiritual guide defines, explores, and applies both earth-based psychology and the related idea of path awareness—the innate ability to sense where to turn at a given moment. By drawing together disparate elements of contemporary science and ancient wisdom, it is shown here that new methods emerge of determining the best direction through inner turmoil, relationship trouble, team and community issues, and world issues. Jung's work is taken further and linked with diverse disciplines and wisdom traditions, making scientific ideas accessible to nontechnical readers. Theory and experiential exercises are presented in a simple, imaginative manner, with diagrams and illustrations to strengthen lessons for readers.

4-0 out of 5 stars Decent
I bought this for my sister-in-law who, at the time, was a sophomore and who wanted a head start at studying for her GRE.She gave great compliments to the information included as it helped solidify her desire to study psychology. However, this should not be used as your only resource for studying for the GRE.As other reviewers have noted, the book does contain some typos and formatting errors.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good Start, but not Enough

I used this book, the Princeton Review book, David Myer's Intro to Psy. book, as well as my other textbooks, and of course... the internet. The best way to use this book is to: a) read the chapters so you're familiar with the basic concepts, b) look up names and studies that you're unfamiliar with on the internet, c) make flashcards of concepts and psychologists you think are important.

The practice tests are not good predictors of the actual GRE, but are more of a studying tool. I scored in the low 700s on each of the practice tests, but scored an 830 on the actual test; so, my scores in the Kaplan practice exams were at least 1 SD away from my score in the actual exam. Still, it was useful in that it showed me what my weaknesses were.

Also, if you're hard up for cash, these books are usually at your local library, and they don't change much (if at all) from year to year.

4-0 out of 5 stars This book was a very important part of my preparation
I am perfectly happy that I bought this book, because it did exactly what I had hoped it would do - help me score in the 99th percentile (830) on the psych GRE.But it is not enough by itself! If you rely on this book as your primary means of test preparation, you probably won't get a stellar score.

This book was only ONE PART of my overall preparation strategy.More important to my preparation was reading a Psych 101 textbook.Specifically, I bought a cheap used copy of Gleitman's introductory psych book (Psychology - 6th (Sixth) Edition) and read it section by section. When I completed a section of the textbook (e.g. Sensation and Perception), I would go the Kaplan book and read the corresponding chapter there. That way I covered the material twice. After reading both the textbook and the Kaplan chapter, I would then go to the website for the Gleitman textbook where you can find online quizzes and vocabulary reviews. After taking the quizzes online, I knew if there were any areas I didn't understand and/or needed to review further.Fortunately, there are lots of resources on the web for studying any areas you need to work on.

And of course I made flashcards of vocabulary, theories, and important psychologists. And I took practice tests. And I re-reviewed everything.A lot.Basically what I'm saying is that it takes a good amount of time and effort. The Kaplan review book isn't going to work miracles by itself.

While the Kaplan review book was helpful in my preparation, in my opinion it has two deficiencies.1.) The methodology and statistics section of the book is not thorough enough.Do what I did and go to internet to get bit more information on things like ANOVAs and factorial design. 2.) The practice tests are almost worthless. They are incredibly poorly written (as far as diagnostic tests go), and in no way do they approximate the real Psych GRE tests.I took the first one, but I didn't bother with the second.Do yourself a favor and find the real ones.

It has been 10 years since I graduated with my bachelor's in psych, so I had forgotten a fair amount of stuff.Despite that, using the Kaplan book as an important part of my preparation, I managed to score very well on the test.If you devote a few months to your preparation and take it seriously, you should be able to do the same.If you don't, I'm not sure how much this book is going to help you. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars There's a sucker born every minute.
The authors provide no evidence or support of any kind for their speculations, which could be very harmful if people follow their suggestions. It is sad that there are so many disreputable people who write books on fantasy topics like "energy healing" just to make money. Have they no sense of morality? Do they believe their own hype? Can they not find any more useful and ethical way to earn a living?

1-0 out of 5 stars Pseudoscience and delusions
After close examination of this text, I conclude that from a Chinese/western medical perspective that this book is an attempt to make pseudoscience look convincing in order to support the marketing campaign of the authors. From a position of Chinese medicine and medical physiology expertise, they have failed.

Energy therapy is based largely on false assumptions about the brain. It uses a "thought field" approach as the main background theory. However, thought fields do not exist. The book explains energy as in positive or negative terms. However there are no physical similarities or correlates between normal energy and thought energy. Any physics scholar will know that energy does not work that way. There are know known physical correlates with new age notions of thought energy. The book makes feeble attempts to argue for the existence of these spurious and non recordable energy fields.

It steers clear of paranormal claims that are usually associated with energy medicine, but it is still pseudoscience

Qi is more accurately conceptualized as a philosophy, not a science, and its physical existence is not empirically supported. The book is completely unconvincing in arguing otherwise. In addition, they note that while acupuncture, a procedure used to correct the flow of chi, has been shown to provide some minor analgesic effects, its utility has not been demonstrated for treating illnesses or diseases. Chinese medicine uses a combination of treatments that work together.

The authors' proposed mechanisms of action are all spurious pseudoscience. There are simpler far more plausible reasons that may explain the few cases of success with the energy therapies techniques. These include placebo effects resulting from the mere expectation for improvement, demand characteristics, therapist enthusiasm and support, therapist-client alliance, and effort justification (i.e., the tendency to report positive changes in order to justify the effort exerted), and psychological manipulations such as distraction, suggestion, acceptance, and dissociation. These reasons are dismissed by the author, in preference for erroneous notions about meridians, thought energy, and the flow of Qi. The authors even claim that when the techniques fail it is because a negative person has "undone" them.

Considering that these techniques may potentially distract the patient's attention away from a serious illness such as cancer, and that the energy therapists in general do not cater for this eventuality, sensible consumers need to think more than twice before embarking on this pseudoscientific treatment. The book may convince you to open your mind for a while. However, please do not be so open minded that your brain falls out.

Dr Lee

5-0 out of 5 stars A Classic Forever
This book brings the field of Energy Psychology all together, with chapters by major contributors to the field. If you want to know what these approches to therapy are about, this is the book to read and enjoy: one-stop shopping. The editor's (Gallo) introduction places the field in context and nicely sets the tone for the rest of the book. Then an amazing assortment of chapters follows on the major approaches, integrating Energy Psychology with EMDR and hypnosis, biofeedback, etc. ... Read more

This book is not very fancy -no pictures or anything like that, but I thought it was very helpful in studying for the CLEP.

2-0 out of 5 stars There are better ways to spend your money
I bought this book in preparation for the CLEP Introductory Psychology exam, but I haven't used it much.I took the CLEP exam two days ago, and thumbing through the book just now, the questions in the book just don't seem to coincide much with the content of the computerized CLEP exam.Perhaps the questions are from old test banks, or it could be that the author just winged it. I dunno.

So is this book worthless?Well, no.It could be of some value in preparing for the CLEP exam.Still, I largely agree with other reviews on this page, and I don't think the price of the book is worth the modest return a reader is likely to get back from it.I'd suggest buying the official CLEP guide instead, and following the exam outline to prepare.....For a more modest outlay, the Psychology video from the Standard Deviants is also a good exam prep resource.

1-0 out of 5 stars Simply A Low Cost - High Margin Production
The book is simply a cut and paste of old questions type of production. The layout was poorly presented, looks like the output from the '80s old fashion typewriter.Unlike other clep books, this one did not contain any study material of the subject matter, and only listed sample questions and answers (it does not provide explanation neither ??)The author gave a suggested book list, does it mean he wants us to buy and read the other five or six books and then take the questions?I am quite sure I will pass the clep by doing all these. It costs me some money, but not any more with this publisher....
good luck shopping.

The book is simply just a cut-and-paste of old questions, no more, no less. The layout was poorly presented.Feel like it produced from the 80's old typewriter.Unlike other clep books, it only contains suggested examination questions and answers (without explanation). The author only listed the suggested book list, and no materials about the subject was mentioned.
Does it mean, we need to buy the other five books to study and then work on the "questions" he suggested?I am quite sure I will pass by doing all these.Good luck ... Read more

Product Description
Should I go to graduate school? How do I choose where to apply? Are my grades and accomplishments good enough to get in? Who should I ask to write recommendation letters for me, and how should I approach these people? How do I write my "personal statement?" When will I hear my fate, and how should I make my final decision? These are just a few of the many questions to which this well-researched, thorough, and extremely user-friendly book offers answers. Students who are contemplating graduate training in psychology, counseling, and related fields are often apprehensive and confused about applying to graduate school, but this book takes the guesswork and anxiety out of the process.

The tone and features (such as the Q&A format, timeline for application-related tasks and activities, and special advice for special populations) that made the first edition so successful, eliciting hundreds of thank-you notes and e-mail messages to the author, are just as evident in this new edition. The book has been thoroughly updated to include coverage of new topics such as use of the internet and e-mail, as well as changing trends in the professions. The most obvious difference is that the book is now significantly shorter as a result of meticulous rewriting, making it even easier to use.

There have been attempts since the publication of the first edition to copy the format of this book, but none of the others have successfully duplicated the depth of research-based advice and the supportive style that make this book the guide of choice for thousands of graduate-school bound students and their advisors.

3-0 out of 5 stars Helpful resource
While I found this book helpful in teaching undergraduates about graduate education in psychology, I also found much of the information out-of-date. In the 8 years since the last revision of the book, much has changed in the application process.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great resource that will answer all your questions
If you are like I was about a year and a half ago, you want to go to graduate school because it's the next logical step for a psychology major, but you don't know how to prepare yourself or what is important to have on a resume/vita. Moreover, you need a resource that has all the information you'll need in one place.

That resource is "The Complete Guide to Graduate School Admission." For every step of the process, from getting research experience to accepting an offer from a school, this book will guide you along and prevent you from making catastrophic mistakes out of inexperience. I kept this book around for a year and a half, and referred to it often. As a result, I have been accepted into my top graduate schools, and have received a generous offer of financial aid.

Anyone interested in graduate school in psychology and its related fields of study will find this book useful, but the reader will reap the full range of its benefits by first being exposed to its material as a junior or sophomore in an undergraduate program.

3-0 out of 5 stars A good start
This is definitely a book worth looking at, especially if you are just starting to look at the grad school application process. The Q&A format makes it easy to read, and the sections on timelines, personal statements, and C.V.s were pretty helpful.

Overall, though, I found it lacking in more specific, in-depth information. The APA's Getting In: A Step-By-Step Plan for Gaining Admission to Graduate School in Psychology is a much better source, especially if you are considering many highly competitive programs.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Helpful
This book was a great help in telling you all the little things you need to consider when applying for graduate school. It also tells you how to go about the application process, from example letters requesting application materials, to how to write up your C. V.This book gave me the answers when no one else seemed to know and went over the niceties concerning the application process (how to decline an offer, should you visit, the importance of the appearance of your application).I know a lot of these things may appear to be insignificant, but when you're so stressed about getting in, why not do the most you can to improve your chances? You never know, and this book helped me through it.And I DID get in to my number one choice. ... In general I am very happy with my product. The only thing that I was concerned with was that I am in the U.S. and the book came from Austria. However, the company worked with me in getting the book farely quickly. Overall I'm very happy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good text book.
This book is actually pretty awesome for a text book. The writer throws in some humor periodically and takes a straightforward approach to explanations. There are several charts that summarize information well. And there are some great diagrams that really clarify the writing. There is also a companion website with FANTASTIC animations and practice tests. It's really helpful.

If you want a text book that will make Bio Psyc a little bit easier and a lot more fun I recoomend this text book. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A fascinating read
I've read this book from cover to cover and I guarantee you it is a fascinating (and at times almost unbelievable) read.I knew some of the studies covered but not in this detail. It's a great idea for a book. The more you find out about these stories the more you appreciate how amazing human behaviour is.I loved the story of railway worker Phineas Gage who had a 6ft metal pole blown through his head and lived to tell the tale travelling around carrying the pole for the rest of his life (he was even buried with it!) and the shocking story of David Reimer who due to botched surgery as a child had his penis cut off and was brought up as a girl before once again adopting a male role in his teens. Each chapter in the book deals with a different case study and they are all very interesting. The psychological importance and relevance of each case is also dealt with.I'd certainly recommend this book - you'll enjoy many of the stories and learn more about psychology and human behaviour in an entertaining way.

3-0 out of 5 stars Basic Psychology Overview
This is like a Psychology for Dummies/Idiots type book in the sense that it gives a very broad/general overview of the main topics, and personalities in the field. It is a good starting point for Psych 101 - 111 type classes or for general information. It was easy and enjoyable to read.Don't expect it to be a reference manual per-se, at least not for academic reference purposes and definitely NOT for any 200+ level psych courses.

5-0 out of 5 stars What I was looking for
I am entering a masters program in counseling psychology and I needed to refresh myself since it has been nearly 2 years since I have been in class. This is perfect. It has the vocabulary, quizzes, and answers in the back.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great content but poor editing...
I'm currently taking a Psychology class and this is our assigned text book. The content of the book is great and I have a greater understanding of Psychology now.Unfortunately, the editing of the book is poor, especially the review sections at the end of each chapter.Bottom line: the answers in the back of the book are not always correct. If you're going to be tested on the material in this book, I strongly suggest that you study the content of the chapters and NOT the answers found in the back of the book.

5-0 out of 5 stars A perfect supplement to main text
I was lucky enough to have Dr. Melucci as my psychology professor at Santa Monica College a couple years ago. She's very knowledgeable and breaks everything down into understandable terms. I honestly enjoyed coming to her class because she always made it interesting. I would definitely recommend Psychology: The Easy Way to anyone taking an introductory psychology course.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
This book is great! I used it in addition to "Barron's how to prepare for ap psychology"

and I got a 4 on the AP exam.

I love the reading and the examples, so simple yet very detailed. I highly recommend it. Also the ink is in blue, and I dont know if you know this or not, but blue supposedly helps you concentrate better than black ink. So this should be good for those who have bad study habits, this books gets the details in a concise manner and is a good read.

I recommend it! ... Read more
