Copies of key documents
This book does a great job of bringing together documents that are often overlooked. A complete copy of the Ohio Constitution, for example, is harder to find than one would expect. The text is basic and Ohio specific, so not great for use in other states.

Great resource
I put this book together for a class of upper level undergraduates at Kent State University. I couldn't find any suitable textbooks for a class in Ohio State Governemnt. There are many general textbooks for a state government class, but they were all general in nature and not state or region specific. In addition, most of these books were very costly, and were not books that the students would likely use after graduation.
In addition, even with the internet, it was difficult to find suitable copies of many of the documents the students needed to read and review, such as the Northwest Land Ordinance or the first Ohio Constitution.
This book is my attempt to remedy these two issues. For a very reasonable cost to students, the book serves as both an outline of Ohio State Government, and as a compilation of primary source documents.
While this book is put together for a specific course, it also serves well as a one volume resource of the included source material. ... Read more

From the supplier: A study conducted by the Environmental Law Review Committee of Columbus, OH, concludes that the city will spend $1.6 billion from 1991 to 2000 in environmental regulation compliance. The committee, which was formed in Feb 1991, recommends a number of measures to cope with the problems arising from environmental regulations.
