Could have been better
I received this book more quickly than i expected. While i purchased a used book, i thought the book was more used than the price justified.Without tapes, i found this book to be useless and not as helpful as i had hoped.i returned the book.
Where are the cassette tapes?
This book is very good, but I agree that without the tapes it leaves out the most important part of learning legal transcription.Where are the cassette tapes? How can I get them? For the price of the book, thesetapes should be included with the book.
Great tool, but better if tapes were available
I needed a good book on machine transcription to bring me up to speed -FAST- as I work in a busy law office and we just signed on an associate attorney who prefers to dictate his work rather than have me preparedocuments from written notes, the method I'm used to. This book iswell-written, concise and very helpful, but was sent from Amazon withoutthe machine transcription tapes that it is written for, and, because ofthat, is less than a "five-star" value. If I can just get thetapes for this to practice with, it will be a valuable addition to thefirm's library!
