Discover 101 Easy To Implement Money Saving Tips!

From the desk of Allan Wilson

Re: How to plug the money leak.

Question.

Do you feel like you've got a hole in your pocket when it comes to money?

It's not easy is it?

I'm actually reminded of a verse in the Bible that says... "He that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes." [Haggai 1:6]

And this one... "for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven" [Proverbs 23:5]

Now this isn't a Bible lesson but it goes to show that the struggle to save money is an age old problem...

Another Question:

Are you making the same mistake as almost everyone else when it comes to money?

What's that mistake?

Most people concentrate ONLY on how much money they can make and ignore how much money they can save! ...

I want to tell you are story...

Imagine you have a huge water pot. Each morning you fill that water pot to the brim with lovely refreshing clean water HOWEVER you don't realise that the water pot has numerous leaks in it.

What happens?

Of course... During the day that water pot slowly runs empty because of all of the leaks. You come home from work dying of thirst and you go to your precious water pot and it's dry.

Sadly this is what we do with our money too... Unless we find ways to save it our financial life resembles very much that of the water pot.

Unless we plug the leaks there will come a day when we need to buy something but the money pot will be dry.

It all starts with plugging the biggest leaks first... Plug just one big leak and that will keep the water and money pot fuller for longer. Manage to plug a few other leaks and your money pot will not be empty when you need it most.

1-0 out of 5 stars This book is weak.
This book is the weakest out of the many books on dramatic cost cutting. Out of 500 tips maybe 5 are worthwhile but I'm sure you've thought of these already. It looks to me like the writer saw a hot trend and slapped a book together in a couple of days. I really feel cheated by this book and that hasn't happened in years. Usually in these type of books there are few ideas that are just stunning because there so powerful but not here. Take a look at other authors like Jeff Yeager and others like 10001 Ways To Live Large On a Small Budget for much more quality info. I pay for information to find a handful of amazing ideas that I may not be aware of, not a bunch of general slogans like think before you spend, live below your means or live simply. This book is filled with puffy slogans and very little hard information. It's definitely not worth the purchase price and looks like it has been reviewed by friends of the person who wrote it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great practical little gem
A great book for people who are disorganized and want to save money. It is very concise and well thought out. A great gift for couples starting out on a shoestring. Lots of great ways to save money and still enjoy life. A "nifty little find" of a book.

2-0 out of 5 stars Glad I didn't pay for this
I checked this book out at the public library, and am sincerely glad I didn't spend any money on it. I made it through the first chapter, and sampled the rest. Didn't find a single new idea I could use. Granted, I am already a fairly frugal person (but no black belt, by any means), but I thought I would find something I could try. Most of the advice was extremely basic (e.g., don't shop when you are hungry). To make things worse, each paragraph began and ended with an exclamatory sentence. If you really have no idea how to reduce your spending, and have a high tolerance for exclamation points, do what I did: check it out from the library.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great resource of frugal tips
This book is filled with great money-saving tips.Easy to read layout.Highly recommend for younger folks setting out on their own or those newer to frugal living. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was some personal anecdotes from the author. The book is devoid of any information on her.I personally love to read an author's experiences with the subject matter.Other than that, this is a great book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great money saving ideas!
This book is terrific for anyone trying to stick to a budget (and even those who aren't).Well-written with wonderful advice.Highly recommend. ... Read more
