Excellent resource for designers
The Pandoran War

Olmstead was the king.I was born across the street from an Olmstead park. Cazenovia. I spent 5 years in undergrad (lol...it was a lot of fun) at a college on former Olmstead grounds across the street from Delaware park. Of course everyone knows Central Park, but it is unfortunate only planners and architects generally appreciate the breadth of his work and influence. Great book which goes into a lot of background.

just what I needed
I ordered this book for my graduate Environmental Law and Policy class. I didn't know what text I needed until the first day of class and was worried I would get behind but my book arrived within two days of ordering. It was listed as 'like new' and with the exception of some light highlighting in the first couple of chapters, that was correct. I would recommend ordering this vendor, they're honest and prompt.

Excellent Environmental Law Book
The authors of htis book are the best at what they do.I found this book to be very informative and one of the best law books I've ever read.Each chapter is an in depth analysis with clear and concise explanations of the law and its application.

Easy reading for a law textbook.Used it for a very interesting and engaging environmental law and policy class.I would recommend it for those interested in environmental law.

Horrible Service
When I received this book, I saw that the book was encased in a plastic bag with no cardboard, no paper, styrofoam, or anything to protect it from being damaged during its shipment. When I opened it, the spine of the book was fragile and from that point on, it began to fall apart so much to where I had to tape it to hold the pages in. I contacted the seller, mspare, explaining my problem with the book, but I never received any feedback whatsoever. The book was supposed to be in good condition, but because theseller was incompetent and packaged it improperly, I was cheated out of $70. I recommend that no one buy from this seller in the future.

This book is FULL of different case studies and cases that have occurred through time.It is a great Law book to read if you are interested in studying Law, another book my Law prof. recommended, but I haven't bought yet, is Black Law Dictionary.It is a dictionary of like all law.If you are facing court or any legal issues, I recommend checking out this book as well. ... Findlay and Farber treat environmental issues in this work that is a part of the "Nutshell" legal series. Law students snap these works up around exam time to make sure they haven't missed any valuable tidbits, andthis book has that sort of "Cliff's Notes" feel to it -- that is,it is not an exhaustive environmental law treatise, but makes an excellentsupplement to such treatises. ... Indigestible
Awful book, badly written, disorganized, difficult to read chapters. It's supposed to be written for anyone, not only the legal students and professionals, but I'm finding more difficult to digest than any law textbooks. I read a lot, fiction and non-fiction,and this book is making me dizzy. The writer seems to know about environmental law but she doesn't know how to write about it. I wish my school had picked something else.

Great resource for this subject.
This is the easiest to read textbook I've ever used.This is a tough subject and this book makes it easy to understand.It would be great for undergrad courses in environmental law as well as for paralegal courses.It covers all the major environmental acts, and includes interesting features on major environmental events (like the Exxon Valdez spill).It also includes profiles of professionals working in the field of environmental law.Finally, the photos are really good, too. ...
