Stat Free Six Sigma: Focusing on Intent for Quick Results
This is an unusual books on Six Sigma because it is virtually (stated on the cover) devoid of statistics. The authors, Praveen Gupta and Arvin Sri, give excellent rule of thumbs on the statistical tests involved and help many students who are not in sciences understand the issues quickly and clearly. In addition, the book covers the Six Sigma tools (DMAIC), Six Sigma measurements without statistics, Six Sigma innovation and making Six Sigma work.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn and apply Six Sigma tools to improve business or other processes.
