Extractions: Hoya Staff Writer American college campuses are among the nations safest areas, according to a comprehensive campus crime report released by the U.S. Department of Education last Friday. The report indicates that crime rates on college campuses are lower than the rest of the country. The report, which includes crime statistics for over 6,300 public and private postsecondary schools for the last three years, indicates that while the frequency of some on-campus crimes such as homicide have decreased in recent years, others, including sexual assault, are on the rise. Alcohol-related crimes and liquor law violations were those that occurred most frequently on college campuses. In 1999, there were 25,933 arrests and 108,846 student disciplinary referrals for liquor law violations. Compared to other universities of similar size, Georgetown was below average with 268 on-campus liquor law violations resulting in disciplinary action or judicial referrals in 1999. Eighteen drug abuse violations were reported at Georgetown in 1999. While the report indicates that the total number of campus homicides decreased by 54 percent from 1997 to 1999, the number of several other criminal offenses has increased. Reported hate crimes, for example, jumped from 1,312 cases in 1997 to 2,067 in 1999.

Extractions: The arrogance of our governments and your newspapers policy of consistency in not acknowledging European American victims of hate crimes and the manner of treating their victimhood differently is disgusting and reprehensible. Today's Chronicle's editorial follows the same policy of your news section that always highlights the victimhood of all other racial/ethnic/religious groups except European/American/Christians and leaves European/American/Christians as "the" purveyors of racial animus and "the" perpetrators of hate crimes. That's not true and you damm well know it. This must stop, Now. Never is there mention or similar treatment given to the horrible interracial and hate crimes committed against European Americans. We believe you do this knowingly and with full awareness of the results that are divisive and a serious barrier to bringing all races and religions in American together. You preach diversity, multiculturalism and unity and practice the extreme opposite.

FBI Crime Stats have an image of a vicious, ignorant, gunloving, hate-filled, skinhead Yes, blackscommit more crime against whites (1.58 million crimes per year) than http://www.naawp.com/crime_stats.htm
Extractions: An Overview of U.S. Crime! What image do you have of racial violence in the U.S.? What type of person do you think commits interracial or "hate" crime? If you get your information from the mass media (TV, radio, major newspapers, and popular magazines), you probably have an image of a vicious, ignorant, gun-loving, hate-filled, skinhead, Klansman, or militiaman - all white of course, that is a completely false stereotype. The truth is exactly the opposite! The media, protected class minorities, and anti-white politicians expect you to twist in anguish over black-on-black crime or the rare but well-publicized white-on-black crime, but they never mention the much greater amount of black-on-white crime? Yes, blacks commit more crime against whites (1.58 million crimes per year) than they do against other blacks (1.34 million crimes per year)! It's a virtual war of black criminals and white victims! You'll never read the facts in the national media! Why?

Extractions: CLICK IMAGE TO ENLARGE When a non-European Hispanic is attacked for ethnic reasons the crime is recorded as an anti-Hispanic hate crime. The FBI hate crimes report for 1997 records 636 such offenses. However, when a non-European Hispanic commits a hate crime against a person of another race he is classified as a white offender. This is because the FBI's data collection method permits classification of offenders only as white, black, Asian, or American Indian. This explains why the FBI report records 214 incidents of "whites" committing offenses against whites. The vast majority of these offenders are probably Hispanics who have been classified as white. The total of 4,523 "white" offenders listed on this page includes a substantial but unknown number of Hispanics. Classifying non-European Hispanics as whites inflates the number of hate crimes attributed to whites and gives the impression that non-European Hispanics commit no hate crimes at all. The reason for gathering hate crime information is to understand the nature of racial and ethnic relations. That understanding is clouded when members of an important population group are counted separately as victims but are lumped together with whites when they are perpetrators. This is a serious flaw in the FBI's data collection procedure and should be corrected.
