This workshop will provide an overview of how research can be applied to practice using Internet modalities. In Part I of the workshop, participants will be able to describe ways that health, medical, and nursing research findings can be accessed on the Internet. Specific locations to procure relevant research findings will be discussed. In Part II, participants will have an opportunity to search the research topic of their choice, and locate findings relevant to their needs. They will locate professional contacts in their area of research, and discuss how to procure more information. In addition, participants will be knowledgeable on critiquing and evaluating research findings.
