The Red Shirt Program has been running in Brisbane for many years and some of our first trainees are now the umpires you see umpiring the A grade and at State Championships. For those players who love the sport but feel their playing days are over, umpiring is one alternative for staying involved in the game. Even if you never put on a Blue shirt, the training received through the Red Shirt Program will give you a new outlook at the game of Softball. The Red Shirts program is free and those who complete the course and sit the rules exam, will receive a Red Shirt umpires shirt to where when umpiring. As part of the training programs participants will be rostered on games with Blue Umpires to help them understand the On Diamond side of umpiring. Umpiring with a Blue umpires also places a buffer between the coach and the trainee, so any questions can be asked of the Blue umpire without the trainee feeling pressured. This helps build confidence and gives the trainee the chance to learn from mistakes.

STATE G MINI CLINIC 3 Hour Course A three hour introductory mini-clinic is available for your club, league or association. This clinic is designed to introduce youth soccer to the parents and coaches of recreational programs who have little or no experience with coaching youth soccer.
