Excellent Companion Book
This book, conveniently spiral bound, serves as a companion book to Oxford Picture DIctionary and is meant to be used by a teacher as a lesson plan resource.I teach ESL and it is an integral part of my lesson plan.The book follows the subjects in OPD and is thus easily coordinatable with the OPD.I would rcommend it highly to anyone teaching ESL to adults.

A Lifesaver!
I am very happy with my purchases.I got both Of Mice and Men and To Kill a Mockingbird and cannot believe all of the information, activities and ideas! Everything I need to teach my ninth graders the content standards, and the novels. Don't waste your money
I was extremely disappointed by the lessons in this book. They are really nothing special at all and I don't think I found a single lesson in the book worth doing with my K-5 students. Two thumbs down.

very helpful
I am a middle school Special Ed. teacher and this past year I taught an 8th grade Literature class and we read The Miracle Worker in May. This resource was very helpful. I didn't have time to use as much of it as I'd wanted, but I did use a number of pages from it and it was very helpful. Everything is very practical and teaches literary terms and asks a lot of good questions and has good graphic organizers. It's not just some cutesy book with nice little ideas that don't apply to the standards we're required to teach. It addresses a lot of comprehension and literary/drama items. There are also a lot of good vocabulary words to teach too.

Literature Guide: The Miracle Worker
This literature guide is a great asset to teaching the novel The Miracle Worker to 9th grade students. It offers before reading activities and summaries for each act.The answer key at the back of the guide is a life saver.I highly recommend this guide if you are planning on teaching The Miracle Worker, the story of Helen Keller.

This Really Does Have Everything!
I was a little hesitant to buy from this publisher, since I had not heard about them before.I have always ordered from Novel Units or Teacher Created Materials, but NO MORE!I cannot believe everything this guide has!I can just copy the worksheets and handouts and everything is done for me.This really makes entering the new school year a bit easier.I have an entire unit done!What a great feeling!I would absolutely buy from this company again and I am recommending it to my colleagues.

This thing is a Goldmine!
I am so excited about this book!I just bought this from their website, and received mine yesterday.It has lessons for teaching the content standards, which I think is really cool, because most of the books our kids have to read have no decent materials related to them.I have been trying to come up with ideas for teaching the content standards, but now I can do that while I teach them the required novels and plays!I think the price is reasonable, because this is not just a book full of questions and answers like most of the books I have found.It does have comprehension questions, but it also covers things like character development, analogies, theme, etc. so I don't have to make them up myself.School starts here soon, so I am looking forward to trying this out. ... I thought this book included some F/Xs but when opening the book I realised the book does not include any tips and tricks of F/X. Anyhow, for a beginner this book can be useful but for an advanced user it's useless.
