1-0 out of 5 stars Roses in December
The subject of the book on suffering was handled effectively. The book that was sent had pages 30-62 missing and it had several pages repeated. That was very disappointing. Why send an incomplete book?

5-0 out of 5 stars A must for grieviing parents
I read this book when I lost my daughter, found it was comforting.Since then I purchase this book for family and friends during their time of bereavement.

5-0 out of 5 stars Everyone struggling with grief needs to read this book
This book was given to me years ago when our first child was born premature and died 14 days later. This was the only grief book that gave me any comfort or hope because I could see a person who had suffered immense grief yet made it to the end of the tunnel. It gave me hope that I wouldn't spend my entire life in the darkness of that tunnel.

There is nothing that helps you get through grief more than seeing someone who has suffered the same situation living life again in the sunshine.

While the book helped me deal with my grief of losing our baby, it also helped deal with the grief that I thought I had dealt with from my father's death when I was 12.

I cannot say enough about this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Roses in December:finding strenth within grief
This is one of the best books ever for someone grieving.Amazing,It really helps. I read it when the father at the church gave it to me in the passing of my greatly loved Aunt Bonnie.I then gave it to a coworker in the death of her Grandma. Then I bought one for my boss in the passing of her beloved husband. It helped us all.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must read for anyone grieving!
I first read this book within days after the death of my infant daughter in November of 1987.Since that time, I have given this book or suggested it for others who have struggled with how to deal with the loss of a child, regardless of that child's age.Even after all these years, this is the one book that helped me the most and that I continue to suggest to those dealing with grief. This book has also helped me to talk with others going through the grieving process, specifically to help them understand the different stages of grief and that you must go through them all or you will never fully be able to deal with your grief.I will continue to recommend and gift this book as opportunities arise.Well written, easy to read and above all else, a wonderful help during a time of personal loss. ... Product Description

After making the life-changing decision to follow Christ, many new believers are left wondering What's next?  Written in her warm, conversational style, popular speaker and author Marilyn Meberg explores five topics vital to the health and growth of the new Christian.  They are:

  • Assurance of salvation
  • Living by faith
  • Value of prayer
  • Reading God's Word
  • Fellowship

Looking into these five essential areas of life with Christ will enable the new believer to find security and better understand this new relationship.  Questions for refection at the end of each chapter gives the reader an opportunity to apply these liberating truths to her own life.  This interactive component will be an effective tool to enable them to understand God's plan for a dynamic Christian life.

Assurance for a Lifetime will be heavily promoted at all Women of Faith® conferences and included in the packet of information sent to each attendee who indicates her decision for Christ.  It will also be a vital part of the WOF line of product designed to meet the spiritual needs of women.
