La obra de Julio Cortazar se enmarca cronologicamente entre dos libros de poemas: 'Presencia' (1938, publicado con seudonimo) y 'Salvo el crepusculo' (1984, postumo). En la escritura cortazariana alienta la productiva nostalgia de una obra "exclusivamente poetica" (segun el propio autor) y los textos de esa indole que pautan incesantemente su produccion, lejos de ser un discurso marginal, constituyen, tambien en sus propias palabras, "lo mas suyo que le fuera dado escribir". El presente estudio busca, mediante una seleccion y organizacion sistematica del ingente 'corpus' lirico cortazariano, abrir una nueva via de acceso a la obra del autor argentino. En el discurso poetico continuado que Cortazar pone en marcha se acendra la concepcion de la escritura como 'apertura' hacia lo indecible que se mueve en "el otro lado" y que sostiene tambien sus textos narrativos. This book had its startpoint more than thirty years ago, when Graciela Maturo began her studies on Rayuela and became specially interested about Cortazar’s literary beginnings. Her critical and interpretative essay, published in 1968, quickly became a classic of the Cortazar criticism.
