Excellent scholarly resource
I checked this book out because it was considered one of the best overviews of Artaud's philosophy.I think it hits the mark well.I have no idea who wrote that last review, but he's out of his mind.I found this book thought provoking and revealing, and a good foray into studying the mind of a rather complex artist.

Just . . . no.
This book is utterly . . . what's the word? Unhelpful? Moronic? Wrong? I have rarely read a work so mistaken about its object of study. This is beyond bad - it threatens to weaken and distort an understanding of mime and Artaud. Blech. ... Read more
