Mark Manley has replaced the recently retired Charlie Johnston. Manley was an assistant coach at Childress for 12 years and was Johnston's hand-picked replacement when he retired last spring. Although the head coach's face might be different, don't expect much to change. The Bobcats will still wear blue, and the first play from scrimmage might be the 27 dive. "That might very well be our first play," Manley said. "Those dive plays are the ones that defenses seem to have the most trouble with, and that's always been a part of the Childress offense. It's a good play."
