Anderson University's Brian Kmitta (South Bend, IN/LaSalle) has been selected as an alternate to the team. Smith, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound guard, has been named to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference all-conference team twice, including this season as a first-team selection. Smith helped anchor an offensive line that led Hanover to the most points scored in school history (449 points). The Panthers won the HCAC with a perfect 6-0 record and finished the season 11-1 overall. Kmitta, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound offensive linemen, helped Anderson to a 7-3 mark this season. Kmitta has been selected as All-HCAC three years in a row and was named to the first-team the past two seasons. He is a four-year starter for the Ravens.
