Extractions: Frequently Asked Questions What is a typical schedule? Describe the Brainerd Lakes Area We start with Breakfast; then each group goes on a schedule with three meals and lodging. Each group has two ice times, one dryland, one strength training, one shooting and one meeting each week day. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays. There are 32 hockey related activities per week. The blend of off ice training and meetings with quality ice time enhances total muscle group development. The end result is a bigger, quicker, stronger, faster, smarter and classier athlete. Our program is time tested. Quality ice, versus Quantity ice which leads to fatigue, is the answer to success! We live here, work here, play here, train here and vacation here. We will no doubt retire here. This describes the magnitude of the Brainerd Lakes Area. This is a very special place for athletes to train and families to enjoy. Our goal is to have our athletes live and train @ our facility while their families vacation and enjoy the many amenities available in this area. The Classic Golf courses head the slate of amenities. We have been fortunate to travel throughout the hockey world on both sides of the Atlantic. We have chosen this area for all of our needs. We are certain you will feel the same way. Do the pros at the training center take attention away from the younger players?

Extractions: Chuck Grillo Get Chuck's Resume Meet Chuck's mentors! For 16 seasons, Chuck worked with the NHL. From 1995 to 1996 he held the position of Executive Vice President, Director of Player Personnel for the San Jose Sharks. Grillo supervised the club's scouting department and player development program and was responsible for their draft selections. He was the Sharks primary source of information regarding player trades and acquisitions. Grillo was promoted to executive vice president on March 23, 1995. He previously held a vice president title, along with some duties of the office of general manager, since June 26, 1992. Grillo, a native of Hibbing, Minn., served as director of pro scouting from 1988-90 with the Minnesota North Stars, preceded by eight years as a scout for the New York Rangers. Grillo participated in the NHL draft process since 1981. His contributions have led to the selection of 47 players who are established NHL performers, and nearly 30 others who either have NHL experience or are on the verge of breaking into the league. Out of 14 first-round selections for whom he has been responsible, all 14 have become NHL regulars, including James Patrick, Dave Gagner, Ulf Dahlen, Brian Leetch (1994 Playoffs MVP), Jayson More, Darian Hatcher, Falloon, Mike Rathje, Andrei Nazarov, Viktor Kozlov and Friesen (named to 1994-95 All- Rookie Team). The 95 draft resulted in goal tenders Mikka Kiprusoff and Vesa Toskala. Mike Richter, John Vanbiesbrouck, Tony Amonte, Tony Granato, Tomas Sandstrom, Corey Millen, Paul Broten, Kelly and Kevin Miller add glitter to the list. Chuck participated on staffs with seven players in the 1997 NHL All Star game and no less than six in 98, 99, 00 and 01.
Jeff Odgers' Bio Name jeff odgers. Position Right Wing. Shoots Right. Projection Ideally, odgersis a thirdline winger. SOURCE hockey SCOUTING REPORT. back.gif (10983 bytes). http://members.tripod.com/SharxFan11/odgersbio.htm
Extractions: Odgers is a meat-and-potatoes skater. He patrols up and down his wing with diligence, if not much style or creativity. Any scoring opportunities he generates come from his hard work off the forecheck. He lacks the hands skills and the vision to be much of a playmaker, but anyone playing with him is wise to follow in his wake because he churns up a lot of loose pucks. And he's smart enough to play as a safety valve on a line with better offensive talent. He drops back to cover high if the other winger and/or the defensemen move deep into the attacking zone. Odgers has some good speed and balance, but only if he's travelling in a straight line without the puck. He lacks mobility and agility, though effort can compensate for a lot of finesse shortcomings. The Physical Game Odgers takes the body and plays tough. He loves to forecheck and finds it a special challenge to outwit goalies who are strong stickhandlers, getting in on top of them quickly to try to force a bad pass. He takes a lot of aggressive penalties, though he has cut down on the bad penalties that hurt his team.

I work hard for what I have - and I need to have people working hard for me. That's why I chose Pro-Rep, and why you should too."
