Linda informed us: " Brantt Myhres Daymond Langkow (Philadelphia) has a tribal tattoo on his right biceps. Zac Bierk (Tampa Bay) has a rising sun Corey Spring (Tampa Bay) has a sun on his left biceps. Troy Mallette (Tampa Bay) has a heart with crossed hockey sticks on his chest (also attached)." This photo of Troy doesn't show his tattoo real clearly, but we figured it has other merits so wanted to share it with you. Moosefan also mentioned Brantt Myhres , but she told us about the tribal design on his right upper arm and a sun on his left upper arm. Also in her report: Ron Stern Jarrod Skalde (San Jose/Utah) has three tattoosa sun on his shoulder, a tribal design on one arm, and, as she so eloquently put it, "something I can't even describe on his ass." Tony Amonte (Chicago) has a "really nice tribal on his lower back right above his, um....hiney." Jeff Shantz (Calgary) "I can't remember what the design is but it is on his right upper arm."

Extractions: Posted April 14, 2003 Wolves winger Brad Tapper has no answer for his parents when they ask when he's coming home. All he can do is recall the past. "I don't know, it could be June," he tells them. After all, last season Tapper and the Wolves didn't return home until they had claimed the Calder Cup in early June. On Sunday, they took a small step toward defending their title with a 3-2 win over resilient Hershey in Game 1 of the American Hockey League quarterfinals in front of 3,318 at Allstate Arena. The Wolves won their 10th consecutive home playoff game and will host Hershey again at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Wolves finally shook Hershey in the third period as Tapper intercepted a lackluster clear by Bears defenseman Bryan Muir and beat Phil Sauve for the game-winner. While his teammates changed lines, Tapper found himself in the perfect spot. "I just jumped over the boards and picked off the pass," Tapper said.
